  my daughter is also on her email list.

  i believe my daughter has informed her that i dont go to meetings any more, and i think my friend is trying to encourage me.

  however, my daughter has shunned me, my husband and her two brothers for almost five years even though none of us are dfd.

  someone who works at a college locally, pointed out to me that one of their scholar students was stocking shelves at a dollar store.. with this recession, are you finding that higher learning is wasting time?

  i know that it's necessary to become a dr. or a lawyer, but, with the shortage of work, even teachers are working as secretarys.. what do you think?.

  I've seen both ends of the spectrum.

  Where I live there are a lot of millionares who never made it past grade 9. They just worked hard from the time they were 16. Started a small business and grew their business over time. I know probably at least a dozen people who fit this profile.

  On the other end I know people with useless masters degrees that are well working as laborers. I know quite a few like this too.

  a few with Busness Admin certificates that can't manage their own household, let alone run and office.

  I personally think that it has more to do with the individuals work ethic and ambitions more than the amount of education.

  When I read the Song of Solomon all I get is a picture of this dirty old man trying to hook up with a young chick promising her a rich lifestyle.

  obviously Solomon was some kind of sexual deviant. Like as if 700 wives and 1000 concubines isn't enough sex to handle, no the greedy old bastard needs one more innocent virgin to plunder

  i had wanted to start this topic before but never had a chance.

  i'm sure it's been dealt with before so i apologize in advance for bringing up again.. .

  do you know of or ever know of elders who do the very minimum to work so that they can get the maximum child allowance, food stamps, medicaid etc?.

  Do you know of or ever know of Elders who do the very minimum to work so that they can get the maximum child allowance, food stamps, medicaid etc?

  Do they qualify as elders based on having a fine testimony from those on the outside? 1 tim 3:7

  I know more than one, using the system to the full. And guess who's paying? me and you . by our tax dollars

  OWWWWIE!!!! Plantar's wart.....

  kk, i've had a small plantar's wart on the bottom of my big toe for a looooooong time.. recently, it started getting bigger and more painful.

  i googled, and found a home remedy consisting of placing apple cider vinegar soaked cotton balls on the wart and covering it in duct tape.. can i just say......this f**cking hurts!!!!!.

  it's been almost a week, and it's turned black which means (i think.....i hope) that it's working.. extremely painful.....can barely walk....it throbs constantly....i have to get up in the night and deal with it.. anyone?.

  As I was sitting through this study I couldn't stop thinking about Ray Franz and how unfair it is.

  You see Solomon was a worshiper and did great things for Jehovah then he turned apostate, and he gets a life story in the watchtower

  Ray Franz did great things for Jehovah, then according to the watchtower turned apostate, but he gets no mention in the watchtower.
