Questions From Readers
Please answer my question in The Watchtower.—Unsigned.
Among the many readers of The Watchtower who write in for information are some who ask personal questions on which they want a Scriptural answer, but who give no name or address. Others give an address but no name. For the benefit of all, we would like to set out here the policy of the Watch Tower Society in answering questions received.
The Society is glad to be of help to all who sincerely seek answers to questions that call for a Bible answer. First of all, a personal answer is sent by mail to the one who inquires. Then those questions that are of sufficient interest and importance are printed in this Questions from Readers section of The Watchtower. Questions of a personal nature are of concern only to the ones involved, so these are not published. In other cases the questions asked are ones that have been answered in recent issues of The Watchtower; of course, these will not be printed again right away, but a personal answer will be sent and, in many cases, reference will be made to the Watch Tower publications that discussed the point in question.
However, it is the policy of the Watch Tower Society never to answer correspondence that does not bear the name of the inquirer. So let all that wish to avail themselves of the help that the publishers of The Watchtower give in providing Scriptural answers to questions of a personal or a doctrinal nature give their name (not merely initials) and address so that they may be certain to get direct and personal attention.

Scared of Armageddon?
by naja inin the light of the following promises made by jehovah, how can there be an armageddon?.
genesis 8:21: ... so jehovah said in his heart: never again will i cursethe groundon mans account, for the inclination of the heart of man is bad from his youth up;and never again will i strike down every living thing as i have done.. genesis 9:15, 16: and i will certainly remember my covenant that i made between me and you and every living creature of every kind;and never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh.and the rainbow will occur in the cloud, and i will certainly see it and remember the everlasting covenant between god and every living creature of every kindon the earth.. does it make sense to say "i will never kill you by a flood, next time i will use fire?
just asking.. .

I'm not scared of Armageddon because it will probably never happen. It will definately not happen the way jehovahs witnesses envision.
It is a device used by the Jehovah's Witness religion to ensure compliance. it is much the same as hellfire. It doesn't exist but if we get you to believe it we can control your life.

In your opinion: What would a teacher of the English language say about the way Anthony Morris III speaks?
by LogCon inconsidering the language, wording and grammar of anthony morris iii, if a teacher on the english language, at a prestigious university were to analyze anthony's public speaking, what comments and conclusions would they come to?
i say public speaking, because i would assume that an individual would be more careful with their words when spoken in public, than in private.
serious comments would be appreciated, however, i realize that outlaw and a few others are probably on a page of their own.. .

Tony Morris tends to ramble on quite a bit and bounce from one thing to another. To me it seems like he has ADD or some other similar disorder. Maybe some Ritalin will help him out.

Does money buy happiness and a longer life? You decide...
by Brock Talon ini poured over time magazine's sep 8-15 2014 edition article "who we are" and put together this spreadsheet on the results from their poll.
i found the statistics quite fascinating.. most people would say that "money doesn't buy happiness", but this poll seems to me to indicate the exact opposite of that.
it also correlates education levels with higher earning that result in that happiness.

my experience mirrors yours to a certain extent. When I was a poor pioneer and ministerial servant I was miserable. Working night shift as a janitor, barely making ends meet. I was always under pressure from the congregation to do more.
Although I am not rich I earn enough to be able to have the time to live a decent life. Yes I am happier now than i was then.

Warwick Building Project Fluff Stories
by bruh2012 intalking about an article that makes you want to throw-up in your mouth- wt-study jan 15, 2015 the offered themselves willingly.. amazing the psych job of selling your business, moving your entire family, quiting your job to be a "temporary" worker at the new world headquarters!.
throw your livelyhood away only to get the "feeling" that jehovahs is blessing you!
i wish there was away to track the psych job during patterson and other major projects of what happened to all the "friends" that sold and got rid of their livelyhood then and where are they now.. did you ever sacrifce it all for a building project only to be left with nothing after your "spiritual high"?.

One of my wifes relatives did this. They sold everything and did the borgs work instead of their own. they wasted their 30s and early 40s for the Borg. They are close to 50 now and starting over with nothing.

Is there ANYTHING Jehovah(TM) doesn't hate??

He hates people who talk languages other than english because he will destroy them at armageddon if they don't convert to jwism because there is no one to preach to them even though he confused the languages in the first place.

In your opinion: What is the average IQ of the Governing Body?
by LogCon ini don't know if this question has been asked before,.

It doesn't matter what their IQ is because 1 corinthians says that God chose the foolish things of the world to put the wise men to shame........

JW Info-Commercial Memorial Service
by William Penwell ini attended a jw memorial service about 2 years ago and the speaker i thought gave a good eulogy to the diseased even though he quoted a few scriptures.
just recently i attended another jw memorial and the sermon was about 10 minutes on the person and the rest a big info-commercial with a scripture quoted one after the other.
i did not keep count but i would think the speaker read about 10 - 12 scriptures.

The last jw funeral I was at the elder did the 5 minute eulogy and then did go off the outline to tell the inactive jw relatives that they would not live through Armageddon to see their dead aunt. Asshole
of course a lot of people went up to him after and told him that was the best funeral talk they ever heard.
