  This thread reveals the social stigma our society places on people who lack formal education. IMO Russel was a successful entrepreneur in his religious book publishing and distribution business despite his lack of schooling.

  I love taking advantage of the benefits but hate paying the taxes.

  Human greed is the ruin of all management systems. Greedy employees ruin business by forming unions and increasing the cost of labor. Greedy employers and shareholders try to skim every ounce of profit from their employees causing them to burnout and quit ruining the business. Same in political systems.

  Round and round it goes swinging politically from the right to the left and back again

  yes jeremy, i know exactly what you mean: i was in france on holiday a few years ago, and the lack of humanity & friendship from those frenchies really made me feel that i was in danger.

  Immigrants have always been an issue. People feel threatened by other groups of people. I live in a fairly intolerant rural part of Canada. My observation is that Immigration is acceptable if the person is:

  White

  Speaks English

  Claims to be christian

  All others need not apply
