i have called many times in the past.
this time i was calling for a sister that wanted to know the truth from the society.
the brother from the information desk said they did join but realy they were tricked.
I guess they were also 'tricked' to be in on those special NGO committees - on human rights - in those foreign countries, too, eh?
*rolls eyes*

the following link shows there are serious problems stirring at bethel headquarters for the watchtower society.
it appears, many long-time bethelites are organizing to leave headquarters!
here is the link,.
Well... doing a bit of amateur detective work...
Looking on ZabaSearch.com for a Margaret Runge...
There are three that pop up - but not in the Patterson, NY area code (845).
There is a Mickey Runge that is in the 845 area code - for Patterson... no age or address... this might fit the profile one would be looking for.
Interesting.

P.S.
I did a 'WhoIs' on the web domain name... www.watchtowerfarm.org
It turns up as being registered to a Margaret Runge - who lives in Jamaica, NY (also has a hotmail addy) - actually... a complete address is given - which I will not put here in public... but this Margaret Runge is shown by Zaba to be about... 59 years old.
Interesting what one can find out in a matter of minutes.
how much do you pay a month for your cell phone service and how long can you talk?.
i have a motorola 120c model phone, and with bell mobility, i pay 25$ canadian for a card that lasts up to 2 months or 30 cents per local call a minute or something like 70 cents a long distance call per minute.
so, if the card is good for 25$, and i make only local phone calls, i can use it 83 minutesand for long distance phone calls, at 70 cents a minute, i can talk only 35 minutes.. it's only for emergencies...
I have a TracFone - one of those 'pay-as-you-go' types.
I paid something like $40.00 for the actual phone (a Nokia model 5200), and about $150 for a years' 'reservation' of the phone line... the rates vary - the more minutes that you buy at a time - the cheaper it is. This last time, I paid $50.00 for 200 minutes - which got doubled to 400 minutes (because I 'reserved' the lind for a year). That works out to 12.5 cents per minute... I guess that's not too bad.
If I am out of my 'service' area, then I am considered as 'roaming'.
I went on travel last week to Phoenix, AZ - and drove back via IH-10. Along the way, I used my phone to call my girl-friend several times during the day. I got popped for 2 units/minute as I was roaming (.25/minute) - but it was worth it - and I got to talk to my sweetie.
I may get a 'real' phone someday... but for now, this one meets my needs. It gives me a telephone away from the landline, and works pretty well. Service is through AT&T - I have no connection problems... or not any more than T-Mobil (the other provider that we tested on our IH-10 adventure). The only place that I had a problem was in a rest stop just outside of Phoenix - when I had a very weak signal, and the call got dropped.
The main thing that I like about my choice - is that I have only invested about $230.00 since February 2005... or that works out to about $40.00 per month (taxes included). I can live with that.

i am a huge fan of the twilight zone and i wondered if anyone on the board was a fan.
since the strangeness of the whole series mirrors my own jw life in some ways i found several episodes strangely fascinating.
interestingly my first experience watching it was in the reprised version of the series in the 80's and there was an episode where a shadowy figure lived under a kid's bed in return he would not hurt the owner until... and that's what i think made the series unique in how they added a twist that made every episode special, disturbing, or thought-provoking.
"Next stop! Willoughby!" [train conductor looking at pocket watch]
That is one of my favorites... the fella who takes a commuter train, and sees this small town named Willoughby every day on his way home. His life is hectic, and this small town looks so inviting... no pressures, very slow-paced lifestyle... then one day, he decides to get off at that stop.
Others that come to mind... the one where the people living in a small house...turn out to be a kids' doll collection...
The episode where the astronauts land back on earth... only to learn that they actually went to an identical earth - on the far side of the sun.
There are many others... wish I could find the DVD set... is it available at common stores like Sam's, etc?

i was talking to a friend the other day, he told me that he wanted to get married but there was a problem with that.
he told me that he and his wife split over 20 years ago and he does not know where she is.
he said he has looked and cannot find her so he can file divorce papers.
A basic name search might be a good place to start...
I've located folks I haven't heard from in years using this tool...
Kinda scary.

still feel kind of "should not be watching" as the dead are dead.. being sought of going to church and its now that we don't die but go to god.. just wondering if john edward would be the same as the medium that saul went to and god was very displeased?
though he said last night he is not????.
John Edwards is a con artist.
If you watch him long enough - you'll see this.
