  Mind Control Cults

  a non-jw pilot friend of mine who doesn't know i was a jw sent me this, with the title "mind control made easy!".

  it was eerie to watch this and recognize the similarities.

  it could be useful in helping a current jw who has doubts "get out", as it is not produced by an ex-jw.

  that was such a awesome eyes wide open video!!! I just had a run in with my JW Pioneer sister and i'm pretty sure she was wearing one of those shirts! she sounded just like them!

  i was told to have a "conversation" with the elders there and they asked me 35.000 questions about something i had done.anyone ever had similar experience or something funny/weird happened?.

  Yup, before i got baptized and after. horrable cold sweats like you are about to pooh yourself. and you feel like they are trying to get you to confess to something bigger that you didn't do.... yeah... loads of fun. reason enough to NOT go to meetings!

  i'm already being stalked by the elders, thanks to my wife.

  they had a "shepherding call" for three hours while waiting for me to come back to my house.

  if they're that determined, i'm somewhat concerned about their reaction to what i'm going to do.

  above all keep peace in your house. if you point things out to your wife just right she will listen. it suck where you are in the situation 'cause its like you are damned if you do, your damned if you don't. i hope everything works out of the best! *HUGS*

  i've been lurking on this site for over 2 weeks now - love it!

  the more i read the more ignorant i feel, but i'm learning... i've posted a few responses to others, and would like to say a big thank you to those who have already welcomed me.

  I really hope you make a well educated decision before returning. Heaven's library list is AWESOME! I'm still new to all the stuff I've been learning too. It hit me like a ton of bricks when my mind was opened (not to long ago at all), and i have been reading almost everything i can get my hands on. One of the books i have found helpful is "Kingdom of the Cults" LOTS of information with great References if you wish to look anything up farther or want to make sure its fact. "Understanding the Cults" is nice 'cause its a easier Read. but it gives you an outsiders point of view. "The Joy of Sects"has a very small part about JWs but its funny. but on that note its not hard to find Jehovah's Witnesses in a book about Cults or Sects. so it might be fun to just to go in to a old used book store and take a look around its interesting how much is out there....but " Crisis of Conscience" is the best place to start.

  who is asking? my Best friend calls her and her husband drifters, and me and mine JW apostates. and we call each other the dirty "A" word joking. we laugh and think its funny. but anyone if anyone else were to ask i would have to say "no"... because i love my family and would rather not be the anti-Christ to them.

  Its just that the word has changed so much for me. it always was a horrible thing. i always herd "they are just angry hate filled people" "they are miserable and they want us to be miserable" "they are crazy and speak false about "the truth" and God" "they are sneaky and sly"... REALLY???? wouldn't that be.... um.... the organization its self that does that. I don't know about you guys but i'm NOT Miserable or hate filled. I LOVE Most of the JWs and feel bad for them for not being able to see, for being worse than slaves 'cause they PAY to be slaves to the watchtower. and my sense to humor is wonderful now and what really carries me threw. all the apostates that i have seen, and know of, speak WAY more Truth about "the truth" than the organization ever have in the 26 years i went to all the meeting. nad they are happier and funny!
