Terry's Amazing Stories
by Blue Grass inam i the only one who think's a lot of the amazing stories terry come up with are fabricated or completely untrue?
every week he tells us how he by chance ran into a jw, mormon, evangilcial, etc.
and comes up with witty answers every time to counter every point they make and than have them running in fear.

I like Terry. Sometimes I learn something from him, sometimes I think he needs to go learn something or stop overthinking things. Sometimes I think he's got something really interesting to say, sometimes I'm not that interested in what he is writing. We've agreed, debated, it's all good. If you don't like his posts, don't read them.
One thing, however, that consistently bugs me about Terry's writings....USE A PARAGRAPH, DUDE! Everthing doesn't have to be it's own sentence. Your posts would be like, 1/3 the size they are if you used a paragraph!
OK, I've got that out of my system. Used to write for a living, so, you know... I'm all better now.

by AK - Jeff in....my final jw relationship.. i did it.
i killed the relationship.. my cousin rick and i had been inseparable as jw's.
rick is five years my junior, and in many ways i tried to look out for him like a little brother when we were younger.. i have wrestled with an on again/ off again attempt to stay in touch with rick since i left jw's.

i am actually excited about this since i think this could help assist a ton of people out of this organization!!.
i believe that the governing body is stepping up efforts to emphasize their unconditional rulership - every wt study article seems to make reference to their authority.

In fact, I think the GB already has assumed the role of the FDS. One way to avoiding the difficulty of the ordinary "annointed ones" would be to simply quit taking count of them at the memorial. This would also avoid the embarassment of the steady increase in their numbers at a time when they should doctrinally be going down.

Was it encouraging or defeating when you heard counsel to do more ?
by troubled mind insmall things from our recent elder visit keep popping up in my mind .
one thing we discussed was how much pressure we felt in the congregation to keep doing more , more ,more .......i said that it caused us to never feel we were ever good enough !
if you are not meeting the national average you were treated like a slacker .
