o.k i have noticed that most female jws are ugly.and by ugly i mean ugly.they won't work out,they are fat and won't go on a diet (some female teens won't even shave their legs),they neglect their appearance/body in general.any opinions?.

.

p.s many will eventually get fat after marriage.

Haha misery! That is what my sister jokingly calls the "Jehovah Witness dream!" Personally I would much rather work than pioneer.

No, just that is who they are conditioned to look for. If a sister isn't a pioneer, etc. she doesn't have a chance with certain brothers.

Oh no, you're supposed to "wait on Jehovah" because he will provide you a "suitable mate". I passed up alot of good worldly men because of this thinking.

I know of a sister in her 50s- was still a VIRGIN, kept on waiting. Finally she went ahead and did the deed with some worldly guy, now disfellowshipped. I feel bad for her, all her life she waited while people told her that Jehovah would provide, which of course he didn't. She should get a medal for waiting that long IMHO.

at the end i started making excuses to leave (supposedly work related) so that i could just get out of there.

i wanted a drink!.

Backroombilly I know what you are talking about. There is something about the "different" people in the congregation, or visiting that can make the meetings interesting.

Field service-how did you avoid it?

i hated field service and would avoid it as much as possible.i tried to work on my own if i could and would just drive some where and lisern to music or pretend i had return visits and just go home.what did you do to get out of the misery service?.

I just never went that often. Enough to have a few hours per month. What I did not want to do was certain kinds of witnessing, like walking through the mall or telephone witnessing. I never had the opportunity to work on my own. All one could really do is just hope for rain so you wouldn't have to go out.

It wasn't just that elder, this was widespread practice.

Yeah there were some cool brothers. I actually never would have seen myself "marrying outside the Lord" but since I no longer believe the lie, here I am! One big problem in the org was that if you were not the good little JW wife type your chances of marrying a JW man were not good. There is often a lack of ambition that is a big turn-off for me.

Keyser that is true. I really did not feel that I was "spiritual enough" to get a good brother. I had a sister once tell me that I needed to be seen in the FS more.
