okay, i am incredibly shy but i just joined a club.
the guy that i have a huge crush on happens to be the president of this club.
meetings are only once a month and he's only the president for about three or four months more.

Are you a shy person? I am guessing no, but that is a total guess on my part. For shy people it's not as easy as "hmm I wonder if I am hot or not--ohh look I am, and he is unattached--this will work out lovely"--it just doesn't work like that.

but i'm sitting at a computer right now (duh) listening to the green greens theme -- the orchestration of classic nintendo themes is excellent -- and i just noticed that it sounds a bit like a kingdom melody.
of course, it's tons catchier than a k.m., but you get the point.. while i'm on the topic, are there any other ssb:m fans in the audience?
Soul Calibur is my favorite fighting game...I think GSX and I talked about this before.

Umm I dunno, I think I don't like it because there is too much going on, and it seems like I can never learn the combos, just hitting random buttons is more effective. I dunno, maybe it's just me. It is a lot like an arcade fighting game, and to me those are kind of old school, which if you are into that (which you obviously are) more power to you, but I want bigger, better, faster, etc.

If the young sisters in the congregation wear amber, this may send an outward message that they are a person of moral uncertainty to the congregation. Surely it would not be a good idea for them to be stumbling the young brothers in this way.

I gotta be honest, it's not my favorite. It's like a fun game to play with tons of people and just passing off controls and what not, but as far as fighting games go, it's my least favorite. (sorry)

despite everyone telling me how great it was, i was like "yeah whatever"...huge mistake...that movie rocked so much!!
it's by far one of the sweetest love stories/just all around feel all mushy inside movies.

I agree with Ven...e-mail takes a lot of pressure off. Maybe you could give him a number to contact you? Then the pressure if off you to call him. Trust me as one shy girl to another, I know this is not easy! But maybe a phone call on your part would get the most action. You could tell him you are home sick and would just like to get together and chat.
As Ven also said, he made the offer to you to get together for a holiday trip. He does have an interest in you or he wouldn't have offered at all. From what little bit you have said, he sounds very sweet, and if you would just give him a call you two could probably get together and go out for coffee sometime, or go see a movie. If you are a freshman you could ask him if he could introduce you to some people on campus. The more time you spend with him/talk to him/e-mail him the less shy you will be around him.

On the contary, we know him pretty well, there are lots of stories on this board very similar to his. I really hope all goes well for him eventually. Thank you for sharing his story. You should get him in touch with this site. I bet there are lots of people here who would like to support him and give him words of encouragement. If you talk to him again, please pass along my support for him. It's a very difficult and brave thing he is about to do. He should be proud of himself.
