Feeling disloyal

i've been visiting here for about a year or so, but didn't really feel compelled to participate other than reading the various posts that interested me.. there's been that uncomfortable feeling of being disloyal to god, the organization, many friends and relatives.. i've been associated since birth.

after 65 + years of service within this organization and actually enjoying that time, it troubled me to find myself wanting to express feelings that were contrary to all that time of "faithfulness".

those years were filled with progressive "privileges and responsibilities" even at a high level, and there was considerable success in our evangelizing activity.

Women who spoil their natural beauty with too much make up

Women who outline their lips then fill in with another colour

Women who shave off their eyebrows & then pencil them in with black or worse have them tatooed as a permanently surprise look

Women who believe the myth they can multi-task.............some women can but many CANNOT.

Women who believe men cannot multi-task...........some men cannot but many CAN

Women that put everything on show & then complain if they get too much male attention.

But then guys what do I know, I am a gay man..........

i really can't wrap my head around how people can still consider god loving with such atrocious biblical accounts such as, 1 samuel 15, (god ordering the slaughter of amelikite baby's and children) 2nd kings 2, forgot the verses (god sending bears to maul 42 children) and many others.have you ever asked a witness or anyone elsewhat they think about these accounts?

what was their response?

i'd love to ask one, but unfortunately i'm still physically in the cult and i wouldn't want to raise any suspicions.

The OT god could have shown a profoundly superior way of sorting mankind out, but no, he relied on the good ole blood & guts, slash & burn technology of genocidal humans.

even so, i have never had one prayer answered my entire life.

I did pray to be 'normal' ie 'straight' when I was a JW, but big ole J left me to fend for myself. I can see that plainly now I've put some distance between me & the WT Borg. Now I think he really can't be too concerned about it.

Vander just seems to have such a special hotline to god that it really pisses me off...........sorry Van no offence. Just like when a parent favours one child over another there's gonne be some flack.

I've prayed to god all my life for this to happen, even as a small child that didn't understand what it was about me that made me different from other boys.

Maybe you can help out here?

this weekend's "SPECIAL TALK"....

ok, so as most know, this is the weekend of the "special talk" .... if anyone is going to the k hall, please shaer your thoughts on what makes is "so special".... i bet it will be more recycled same same.... "god loves you, he hates violence, he hates bad things happening to good people, he wants you all to be jw memebers...or he will kill you all at the big loving armageddon!!!!!!!
