What happens when the Governing Body dies off?
by truthseeker inmost of the gb members are in their 80s and 90s.
with the passing of milton henschel (82), one wonders if they'll all live to be nearly 100, like freddy franz.. so let's take a theoretical look into the future, 11 years from now.. the year is 2014. the last gb member dies.
the faithful and discreet slave class are no longer in existence.

You Are NOT Disfellowedshipped! Yet.
by Blueblades in.
if you were disfellowedshipped after you made an appeal by the appeal committee, you are not yet disfellowedshipped!.
in the elder flock book there is a little known "right" that the rank and file are not told when they lose their appeal.. that is that you have the "right"to appeal an appeal.you can request the appeal committee to forward their decision to the branch office and have them review all the decisions once again.. however ,when the appeal committee hides this "right"from you and does not inform you about this "right"there is an error in judgment on their part.. hence you are "not"disfellowedshipped when denied this "right"as outlined in the flock book for elders to follow when hearing an appeal.. i know that as far as the announcement that is made prior to this "right"everyone will treat you as such, not knowing that there has been a miscarriage of justice against you.. it is true that the branch office may uphold the appeal decision, but, that is not the issue here.. has anyone ever used this "right" or,been told of it by the appeal committee and had their decisions overturned.in the case of a family member we were not told.. blueblades

by sandy ini was wondering as i have been lately; did i turn my back on god and am i wrong for turning my back on the organization?.
are there any of you out there that feel like you have a real personal relationship with god with or without religion in your life?

Logically, the DA'd should not be shunned!
by metatron inif the bible sez that shunning applies to "anyone called a brother" who engages in serious sin,.
then logically, if a person made clear to everyone - congregation, neighbors and community - that he is.
not one of jw's, no shunning would apply - over and above any 'worldly person'.. likewise, it would not apply to any df'd person either - if they made clear they are no longer a jw in any way.. of course, such logic cannot be grasped by the watchtower - who would voluntarily submit to their dominance.

Bogus Anointed
by RunningMan inmost of us already realize that the society's doctrine of 144,000 persons who are chosen from the earth to serve as kings and priests in heaven is full of crap.
but, did you know that there is a way to statistically prove this?.
part of the doctrine states that this number was fully sealed in 1935. if that is the case, then this group is very old.
