When you realized that it was all a lie.. how did you cope?

i realized about a year ago after much lurking here, that the truth was in fact a lie.

it rocked me to my core to come to the understanding that everything that i have been taught, believed in and taught people myself was in fact not true.

when you are a born in like myself, the teachings of the wts become all you know.

((((hugs)))) to you, I know exactly how you're feeling because I've been there as have many on this board. Don't worry about how you feel right now, start making plans your life isn't over by any means. There's plenty of fun to be had, new friends to make, places to go, people to meet.

If you have left and now have no belief in God, or you still have a faith but don't know what to do with it don't worry things will settle down.

You can always come here for a chat, a rant, or just some hugs don't worry because there will always be someone about.

Just remember the W/T have lied about everything including people out in the 'world'. People are fine, you will make some good friends and at least they won't be conditional.

Email I sent to mom after huge fight today

well my mom and i got into a pretty bad argument today over the phone.

it basically came down to the fact that she couldn't handle what i was saying about the organization, etc and all she could come back to me was that i "hated her?

" i guess i just wanted to share and vent a little too....thanks for letting me do so.. .

I plan on going to get counseling to deal with the anger I have for all of the injustices that were done to me.

meangirl - I think you are very wise in going to get help. Anger robs you of living a normal life, don't let them take another day from you.

Try not to lose your mom, you never know you may get her out aswell. Here's to that day

i heard from lt a few weeks ago.

i haven't been here for ages because i've had to spend so much time at the hospital.

emily and christopher were born 14 weeks early on 23rd may.

My youngest daughter had twins 7 months ago so I know the worry involved.

I'm not sure who LT is but lots of hugs to you and your babies, hope everything will turn out fine (I'm sure it will).

Things won't be going badly when the tribulation hits, it will in fact be going very well. Doesn't it say they will be claiming 'Peace and Security.

You can see them all rushing into the New System can't you. lol

this past weeks's column actually is the end of a series on complex post traumatic stress disorder (c-ptsd) that spanned from week 18-20. it includes a definition of c-ptsd as well as applications to our lives as witnesses and ex-witnesses and some techniques to help us through the recovery process.. c-ptsd differs from ptsd in that ptsd is most often the result of a one time experience.

dr. herman defines c-ptsd as:.

a history of subjection to totalitarian control over a prolonged period (months to years).

Has Anyone Had The Experience? "The Secret"

i'd like to get some input and insight from anyone here who has had the experience of having their life transformed, in some way, by reading and applying the principles found in the book, "the secret", authored by rhonda byrne.

a few months ago, a thread was started by someone, concerning this book, and i don't remember who started the thread.

Yeah I have but to be honest with you I think the only one making money by positive thinking is the author.

Good read though if you do have a negative outlook (but like I've said don't expect the money to come rolling in).
