  Little Girls in the '70's KHalls: Dresses

  do you remember the short little dresses small girls wore back then in the khall?

  my mom wouldn't replace ours until they were very short on us.

  she was very cheap.. when we sat down in a chair, it was very difficult to keep the skirt down far enough.. i remember getting slapped hard on bare skin several times because i couldn't keep my dress down when told to.

  I had a nightmare…what does it mean?

  i had a very vivid dream last night that i would like to share it with you.

  i wonder if any of you have had the same type of dream.

  i believe that dreams are used by subconscious mind to communicate with the conscious mind, so im sure that this dream has a meaning.

  Changing Perspectives

  there are times - or will come times - in our lives when things happen that are so horrible they are beyond belief.. after going through such trials, we are never the same again.. our whole outlook, how we view or respond to certain situations, how we interact with others, is impacted.. these things can make us or break us.. somehow, though, the majority of us make it.. my thanks and kudos to those who help us make it!

  Answering up: A joy or pain?

  i hated answering up!

  hated it with a passion!

  i would spend the whole study working out my answer, getting it world perfect in my head, as i put my hand up i would be shaking, and afterwards shaking too.. then there would always be sister perfect elderette who would answer up without turning a hair and give a sermon of her own, usualy using the point i had just made as if i hadn't made it in the right way and therefore it was up to her to correct it.. strangly enough, i loved "answering up" in the classroom, never had any trouble.... a joy or pain?

  did not like it,,,,did not mind it......i got called on WITHOUT raising my hand,,,,if they thought i needed to answer....(elders wife) had to be an example.....i was a piss poor example...the more they pushed,,,the more i rebelled...sigh....

  Emotional affairs JW style

  inspirared by another topic.. i wittnessed a number of "emotional affairs" as a jw.

  were normaly elders were invovled and although nothing physical happened ( or was found out) there was a definatate emotional connection made by two people who were married to others.

  i saw many great flirtations, people who couldn't keep away from eachother too.

  i encountered in my time as a jw, an alarming number of jw brothers who just couldn't remember people names.. alot of the these brothers were the watchtower conductors for their congs too!.

  is this a jw affliction?.

  Satanic murder shocks Argentina

  buenos aires (cwnews.com) - the brutal murder of a 50-year-old father at the hand of his two young daughters as part of a satanic rite has shocked argentine society and raised concern about the proliferation of satanic and other cults in buenos aires.. the mutilated body of juan carlos vazquez was found on monday surrounded by his two daughters, silvina, 21 and gabriela 29, who stabbed their father 100 times and ate part of his face.. yesterday, the police revealed the first details of the strange crime, announcing that the three of them belonged to a cult known as the "alchemy center for transmutation.

  " according to the police, apparently the father and daughters engaged in a ritual that ended with the murder of juan carlos vazquez.. juan carlos' body was found not only with 100 knife wounds, but also marked with cuts forming a strange figure.. the killing took place in the living room, after the furniture was moved to one side.

  in the place were found cups with strange liquids and a book of "alchemy rites.

  Are you a victim of WT manipulation?

  i read about it all the time here, i'm staying inside for my jw friends and family, i'll keep my mouth shut, i keep dropping hints trying to convince them they are wrong about the wt.

  their are two sides to manipulation-ie, the manipulator and the victim/enabler.

  one can not viably exist without the other.
