  Nardolillo was a tool and was from RI (family here) and served in the area. I have no idea where he is now. One talk he gave trying to drum up enthusiasm to regular pioneer.....

  He thought he could give ideas for part time work to supposrt pioneerig. One "job" he kept promoting was being a "flagger" for $40/hour. Some of us were chuckling and most made comments after "that he needs to live in the real world." First of all in Massachusetts civilians cannot be flaggers only policemen and second where is he getting information on the pay scale? What got me miffed was he was trying to guilt us into pioneering. I have been there and done that and NO way in h*ll will I pioneer again. I do not have to work but I like it (well sometimes) lol. He would make comments why was I not piioneering when he "thought" I did not need to work. Hmmmm wonder what crystal ball he was looking into when he reviewed my finances?

  after being reinstated in 2008, i was finally appointed ms last night.. i am so excited now that i have a certain measure of 'power'.. ex-ms's/elders, what types of challenges come with this priviledge?.

  what will be expected from me?.

  That is bull. While in my family we did not shun most I know do, which is so sad. It makes me sick to see minors get baptized at such a young age.

  just a quick poll if you will.... i personally hate to cook.

  it's not that i'm particularly bad at it, i just don't have a whole lot of patience or motivation to do it.

  i suppose it has something to do with my having to live alone?

  My Lord spoke to me and told me to pout

  the lord spoke to me last night but warned me that if i tried to share it with others that i would be ridiculed and made fun of.

  he acknowledged that this would be hurtful and that instead of showing a brave face and enduring in his name, i should go ahead and pout and sulk.

  i asked if i should post my experience and he said, "eh, what the fuck ever... if wanna really good pout, you should post it on the internet for all to see.

  We had a newcomer Russell Shelton and his wife Judy from I think Kentucky. They were one of the best dressed in the circuit. Russ was "talked" to by some elders because the amount he requested for reimbursement during his week stay at a local KH was more than double than most COs in the past. It was revealed that he was getting reimbursed for expensive dinners with his wife. He felt entitled and was pissed when asked to account for every purchase.

  They were reassigned after their 3 year tour and sent to Caribou, Maine area up near the Canadian border. When they announced that at the CA everyone chuckled knowing Russ and Judy were HIGH maintenance. Good riddance, I heard they are now divorced.

  There are so many who have NO idea what it is like to live in the real world. They try and guilt people to pioneer or have the "pioneer spirit". I laugh inside thinking you get enough from me, I have things to do at home and have a real job.

  any of you that are elders or ex-elders.... did you ever have certain people in your cong that would call you at home very often with trivial or constant questions concerning "what should i do"?

  did you feel that your position actually served a useful purpose for people who could not think or reason for themselves?.

  did you often give up time with your own family in order to be available to these constant groupies calling for advice?.
