aren't these three related things some of the hardest to explain to interested people?

most jws don't focus on these teachings at first and will instead focus on more appealing bible teachings.

What would happen?
Aren't these three related things some of the hardest to explain to interested people? Most JWs don't focus on these teachings at first and will instead focus on more appealing bible teachings. I think most everyone has some issue really believeing these to some extent. Some even have said that if there was a change to these that it wouldn't bother them.
What would happen if these teachings were abandoned? Could the rest of the "truth" still hold up? Or, are all somehow related to these 3 things?

Well I still think saying "lie" is a bit harsh since they qualified it with strongly indicate.

Thus, the Bible is not at odds with scientific findings. It indicates that the creative days lasted aeons.

3 And God proceeded to say: “Let light come to be.” Then there came to be light.
How do we know verse 3 means that let light come to be isn't from the perspective from on earth? Couldn't something have been blocking the light during these creative events? Whether on earth or between the sun and the earth?

If God is perfect and his creation is perfect, why should he have to refuel anything?
That's a good thought.
Some immediate thoughts come to my mind (not saying they are right):
How do we really know that there isn't already something different about the sun than all the other stars in the solar system? I'd be interested if this can be disproven.
How do we know that angles don't have the assignment to prevent the star from dying. I know this is out in left field but according to the bible we will never fully understand the creation of Jehovah.
Also, isn't most of what we know about a star's life-cycle from what we observe about others? How many years into the past have those events been? How sure are we that the "time-machine" of space observation is how things are currently happening now? Could there have been other physical laws in place before jehovah was done with creation? I know this is all specultive. I'm just saying we don't know everything.

Sorry you found my response impolite, but an JW apologists that claims to understand things that won't do basic research on his own shouldn't get info spoonfed.
Maybe the term "refuel" isn't the best one to use. Couldn't Jehovah do whatever is needed to prevent the sun from dying? Since he wrote the laws of physics couldn't he circumvent them? Couldn't the creator of the sun prevent it from dying? Arguing this is like saying he could not part the red sea or give Jesus the power to turn water in to wine or resurrect the dead. If these things could happen and since the bible says the earth will remain forever, why is it so hard to think the "impossible" could happen. Perhaps you don't believe that the red sea was parted or the water turned to wine or that people where resurrected. To each the own I suppose.

For you to actually KNOW that the bible writer spoke about FUTURE events in ADVANCE of them happening wouldn't you need to know exactly WHEN they wrote?
You asked what would make me not believe. I told you. Can you proove that the bible did not accurately fortell the future, like Jeruselum's destruction as you allude to in your post?

i'm beginning to have some doubts about my doubts.

this subject is one of them.. many argue that it is unfair, unloving, and unjust for god to destroy 99.9% of all mankind at armageddon.

but didn't this happen before in the days of noah?

Ynot. The fact I'm here shows I don't agree with everything the WTS says, otherwise I wouldn't be here. However, critial thinking is not the same thing as being independent of God in our thinking as Adam and Eve choose to be.
