  that's what i've been feeling lately!.

  i've seen the light that the "truth" isn't the truth, but my husband is an avid believer.

  Hello Nice Dream- I'm working quietly in a semi active way to help my wife and other family members see the flaws one at a time. Find out anything that your husband doesn't fully understand and research it. Come here and ask questions there are some really helpful people here that can provide links to info it would take days to find for yourself. I have been using links from here to the WTS own literature that I can then pull up from my CD-ROM to show them without using the scary apostate forum. Keep working.

  Most Annoying Things That Happen At JW Meetings

  today i was remembering how angry i used to get at the meetings and all the little irritations that in the end would just make my blood boil these included:.

  prayers that go on foreverstudy or wt conductors still taking comments when its clear that the point has been covered 20 times alreadymeetings over running by more than 5 minsmy favourite was this one elder who would play guess the point i am thinking of.

  he would keep rephrasing the question from the wt until someone would bring up the point he was thinking of.

  Getting counselled on timing in the ministry school, then suffering through the last service meeting talk running 15 minutes over given by the same ass clown that gave me a W an hour before.

  2010 Circuit Assembly..........Sunday Program nonsense and madness.

  i went to the sunday circuit assembly and came back all riled up with all the nonsense.. the sunday program was on ''safeguarding your spirituality''.

  ''it is better to remain single and not marry.

  that gives you more time for studying and the preaching work.

  Wouldn't this have been a really good time to pray in the closing prayer to help all of the afflicted ones in Haiti. That didn't happen. By the way, on Saturday of the program everyone was told that Jesus pioneered to enhance his spirituality. So if we're to follow his example we should also pioneer. I actually laughed out loud at that one.

  Dubs - Paradoxes From Hell

  dubs - paradoxes from hell.

  jesus said his yoke was kindly and light.. dubs brag their religion is the "hardest religion in the world.".

  the bible tells children to honor their parents.. the wts tells children to betray their parents.. if dubs really live in a "spiritual paradise," why do their lives have to be threatened to stay in it?.

  Under the direction of NH Knorr, the WTS printed that if a dub swore allegience to his country, he would be condemned to death by God.
  At the same time, NH Knorr swore his allegience to his own country in writing so he could obtain a passport and travel to other countries where he taught that swearing allegience to countries is condemned by God.

  Where can I find more specifics on this? Thanks in advance.

  What Do Jehovah's Witnesses Stand For?

  i know what they don't stand for.. they do not celebrate holidays, believe in getting involved with the "world", vote, take blood transfusions......well, that's not really so.. if a christian (jw) wife was told by her "unbelieving" (non-jw) husband to help decorate the home for christmas, she could do it!

  if he wanted her to go to a christmas work party, she could attend.. a jw has to be totally separated from this world.

  politics is a no-no.

  Perhaps someone would want to start a thread entitled "Ask theMadJW a yes or no question and get a yes or no answer." Everyone would have to be polite and take turns. A new question could not be posted until the previous one had been answered. No wasted time for him and to the point answers for everyone else. Just a thought.

  I'm don't doubting that your elder body may know your feelings on the FDS, but do they know that you host an independant web site and participate in at least one other site that has confirmed "apostates" on it?

  Jehovah's Witnesses---A Religion That Does Nothing For Anyone

  the reality is: jehovah's witnesses benefit no one but themselves!.

  they don't contribute to society.

  they refuse to get involved in local interests because that would constitute violating their neutrality.. if sexual abuse allegations are made amongst their members, unless two witnesses can attest to the molestation, they refuse to get the "superior authorities" involved.. they claim to be doing their neighbors a "life saving" work but the reality is that they simply are pests to their "householders".. they are a tax free "religion" and they do not pay taxes.. they are judgmental people and regard the "world" as "worldly" and in the "power of the wicked one".. and if the individual members do not conform to the organization's dictates, they might very well be "shunned" and regarded as "dead".. why anyone would want to be a jehovah's witness is beyond me..

  Do as I say not as I do, but point that out and you lose your family and "friends."

  "Use your bible trained conscience unless that conflicts with what we tell you to think and do. You cannot interperate the scriptures anyway without us so its actually not your conscience its ours and we'll be happy to tell you what to do with it. Do you have any service time this month by the way?"
