  How Can I Kindly Kick Weak And Unproductive Publishers Out Of My Kingdom Hall?

  unproductive kingdom proclaimers won't leave my kingdom hall, how do i rid our hall of these vultures or turkeys?.

  "you can't fly like the eagles if you hang out with turkeys".

  after visiting your site, i decided to allow one of the spiritual weak individuals into my car group, it was not easy but you have made valid points i find very self condemning.

  Hey Walls,

  Its because no one pays attention at meetings or studies anyway........they know it. 9/10 JW's couldn't tell you the basics about the religion.....they just know which days to come to the Kingdom Hall.

  Jehovah's Witnesses and Divorce

  i really hate divorce.

  it was my parents getting divorced that helped messed up my childhood.. part of why i came to conclude the jehovah's witnesses don't have the "spiritual paradise" they claim to is how many of their marriages end up in divorce.my parents i could dismiss as an exception to a general rule, but i could never understand how often it seemed to keep happening to lots of different people when the watchtower society teaches that divorce is wrong except in case of adultery.. but what really brought things home for me was this study by the pewforum on religion survey showing that even though jehovah's witness are less likely to be married than the general population, they're more likely to be divorced or separated.. http://religions.pewforum.org/.

  they really have a nerve telling people in the jehovah's witnesses religion that they shouldn't have sex outside of marriage when they've done so little to protect jws who get married, and their children, from the extreme stress and conflict of divorce.. it's really messed up.. heck, even the catholics they're are always dumping on have a lower divorce/separation rate than the jws.. jw divorced/separated = 14%.

  You need look no further that JW's are a cult than their marriages.

  Don't forget, the elders are given authority to insert themselves in your marriage. I will never forget one of my polarizing moments. I believe it was 2008, at Kingdom Ministry School with the elders........sitting in the audience with elders that had gotten involved in my marriage, (including meeting with my wife alone in his bedroom), ......they then began to explain their new 'porn doctrine'.......if a servant was caught watching it....the elders were to meet with him AND his wife in the B school and see how the wife felt about him watching porn. They would then decide whether to delete him or not.

  I couldn't believe my ears.

  I closed my Flock Book and decided it was over.

  When I look back, its a minor miracle that I didn't drag a few of my fellow elders outside the KH and beat the living s**t out of them.

  BoE Facebook Accounts

  have some interesting info for you guys.

  it seems my congregation boe has its own facebook account.

  its deactivated but when issues on facebook arise they activate it to check out whats happeneing.. does something similar happen in other kingdom halls?.

  Well for the elders I served with.......having a Facebook account makes sense. They could switch over from watching porn, to spying on publishers.

  I just found out a married guy that we 'privately reproved' for getting a blow job in a hot tub from another guys wife....a 'sister'......was just appointed as an MS.

  They are down to bottom of the barrel when it comes to appointing men. The good ones have left.

  Do you think the WTS is about to change the doctrine about 1914? If so, what are the signs that is under way?

  do you think the wts doctrine that says that christ was made king in 1914 is about to change?

  if you think that's being orchestrated and prepared, do you see signs of that already?

  Don't forget, during the past 100 years........God has been watching his precious, innocent children tortured, raped, sodomized, abused and murdered................................all to give a few more folks in your territory the chance to hear the Kingdom message!

  It makes sense right???

  I don't see them EVER giving up on two things:

  1914

  Disfellowshipping

  Why? Because 1914 is all they have...... at least the people that have grown up since the 1940's. Once they are dead.....MAYBE they change it

  As for disfellowshipping: people have DIED due to this cult law. To do away with it suddenly would bring massive lawsuits....... they are going to hold onto that doctrine come hell or high water.........or its going to cost them $$$

  now that you realise how idiotic some of the jw beliefs are/were, do you feel ashamed of how gullible you were to believe them?.

  if anything my past as an adult jw makes me understand how easily manipulated people are by the people and environment around them.

  and that even intelligent people can be influenced beyond what is rational..

  I'm very angry inside for my mother. She never remarried, she loves animals and she thinks Paradise is any day now. Aside from we 3 kids, she is alone.........never experienced so many things in life because she was waiting for Paradise.

  That is when my anger get red hot.

  Ashamed? Only that I was a high and mighty elder and DF'd people. That disgusts me......I knew it was wrong while I was doing it.

  Otherwise, I LOVE...and I do mean LOVE laughing at this crazy cult now. I had a thread on here a month ago where I admitted my visit to Chuck Russell's grave was one of the funniest experiences of my life.

  i noticed some posters who used to argue along christian lines, but don't do so, anymore.

  granted, it's a tough line to keep to on this forum.

  i would be interested to hear (read) of people who came here as believers, and then transitioned to unbeliever, and the reasons for that.

  I was essentially a born in JW....became an elder that was used at the District/Circuit level...... no one would have guessed I would leave. They'd list me as LAST to leave.

  Now?

  I would probably say agnostic.........HOWEVER........I cannot wrap my mind around the concept of a God that would watch his precious children tortured, slaughtered, in misery and agony for a supposed 6,000 years............all because he's concerned about how 'his name' looks to a bully.

  I'm an ENFJ and a hardcore Idealist...... and candidly, if that's the God I'm supposed be intimately drawn to.....to worship and love....... it just isn't going to happen. If that Fred Franz, Universal Sovereignty concept is the 'truth'..........then He isn't worth worshiping.
