  OMG, My 18 Nephews & Nieces Are Such Creative Double Life JWs

  to briefly state this: we were hardcore jws, my siblings, my wife and her two sisters.

  we have 18 nieces and nephews among us from late 20's to 55. only one is a card-carrying, practicing jw and he's had his problems.. what's hilarious, is that most of the 18 in the next generation would still identify themselves as jws to the rest of the family, but all are leading double lives extraordinaire, doing exactly what they want to do.

  most would be honest with me and have been.

  I have several friends in their 40's and 50's doing the same thing.

  The problem is that I have lost respect (not love) for them...... I don't understand being fake .....why do it??

  my heart goes out for all people stuck in all high control groups, either with insight into the falsehood of their beliefs or none.. to remain a member whilst knowing it false however, must be soul destroying.. my question is, would you carry on living the lie if you discovered that we get one life, one go at existing.

  it's short, it's fragile and nobody in 100 years will care we even existed..... .......if you came to that realisation would you quit?.

  .......if you had children, would you leave in order to set them an example in strength and appreciation of the short time we enjoy?.

  I know several people that are doing this......they are absolutely miserable. It shows on them physically....it's staggering to see the toll it takes on them as they 'live on a fence' or 'fake it'...... I couldn't do it whatsoever. No way.

  Elders harassing me

  hi everyone, it has been a while since i've last updated!

  (refer to my previous posts for the full story) here is a quick re-cap: 2 months ago my mother found out that i am living with my boyfriend, she told me i was discovered by an "anonymous" tipper who turned me in for "living in sin".. first of all, that is nearly impossible, the congregation i was in is 100's of miles away from where i currently live.. no one would have ever known i was living with my boyfriend unless i told them, which i never did, i cut off all communication with that congregation in part of my attempted fade which was blown into pieces and discovered.. anyways, my mom tells me if i don't go to the elders and confess like a good little sheep, then she is obligated to tell them.. ( don't see why, i don't even live under her roof ) well i never went to them because why should i?

  so they met with my mother and she told them i live with my boyfriend... let me remind you, this was two months ago.. i was told i was going to be df'd and that was that.

  PLEASE NOTE:

  You don't have to put up with ANY of this. There are laws in most states that can be invoked....in your case, harassment and stalking.

  Congregation elders are mental midgets. The Watchtower Society sent out several letters to Body of Elders admitting they will distance themselves from elders if they're hit with a lawsuit.

  Go to a lawyer and get them to write a letter stating they will sue the local congregation, as well as the Society if you are contacted ONE more time. (or make a fake one yourself with a fake letterhead)

  They will crap their pants and disappear.

  I never understand why so many people put up with elders. They are NOBODY! Absolute zeros.

  You could also do what I did .....and I was a former long time elder.......if they knock on my door, I come to the door with a gun. You'd be amazed how quickly they leave.

  JW Cart Witnessing = ONE BIG JOKE

  was talking to a good buddy of mine a couple days ago (we pioneered and were in bethel together and have both left the cult a few years ago), about the current cart and d. and the consensus was that it is now a complete joke.

  was watching a couple witnesses last week sit at a table with their literature display.

  no approaching people for conversation, no initiating stimulating dialogue with passerbys, as was encouraged when i "pioneered" back in the day.

  You think the average JW knew nothing before......this cart 'witnessing' is pure gold for 99% of them. They don't have to think, know anything or answer or question. They're mannequins.

  I honestly feel nothing but embarrassment for them.

  1914.... current significance?

  it seems that when i ask witnesses questions about 1914, they really don't understand the relevance to their message today.

  i am told that they preach about the coming kingdom and that they don't preach a message of 1914. if a person doesn't understand 1914 then i can clearly see how showing them the inaccuracies of the doctrine wouldn't matter.

  can we compile a list of ties 1914 has to their current beliefs?.

  The VAST majority of JW's can't tell you a damn thing about what they believe or would die for. Seriously, you're wasting your time to discuss 1914 ......those still in have NO clue what it was about. They just keep showing up on Sunday's because everyone else does.......

  ...is an epic triumph is emotional manipulation.

  bringing together all of the stories they told thus far and placing them int he "new world" complete with the little boy who was killed in a car accident coming back from the dead.. i have a good friend who is stuck in with family and plays the role.

  he said everyone was crying, and the people next to him rated the videos by how many tissues they needed to dry their eyes.

  To see this video is to understand the levels of evil this organization will go to. There will be many that are 'touched' by this video. "simple" people who just want health or a to see a loved one again.

  It's all a fantasy. It might as well be a Disney movie.

  It is this type of messaging/imagery that should convince anyone on the fence how evil this organization is. It is not a passive decision to remain a JW.... they are teaching many damaged people an outright fantasy.

  rogers death is because of an addiction, fentanyl is what they are saying is the drug that did him in which was reported on the news as being more potent than heroine.

  why is it that some nosy sister can report you because someone who looked like you was in the parking lot the same time as she was, yet bro.

  They had that 'memorial' at the KH rapidly........and I would be it was by design!!!! They knew this may be coming and they wanted it all out of the way so as to claim 'oopsy'............you can bet the Bethel elders were contacted on this situation.

  Why it's a waste of time talking to JW's

  i believe it to be a waste of time talking to, reasoning with, jw's if you expect any kind of quick result.. many of us when we first wake up think that 'coz ttatt is blindingly obvious to us, it will soon get through to our jw loved ones.. this simply isn't so for a couple of important reasons.

  the first is that, if someone believes something is true, or the truth, to them it really is, without doubt, true.

  so whatever you say must be wrong somehow.. the second problem is that jw's simply do not have to use, or pay any attention to facts and logic.

  Trying to 'help' a JW is a complete waste of time.

  I think almost every ex-JW goes through several stages....with one of the first being "I'm going to help others get out"

  It doesn't work. They embrace ignorance like most people do oxygen. Cults attract certain types of people....and until those people have something that jolts them into taking a closer look......they will ignore fact, logic, ....even love.

  I honestly believe websites such as this....all the books and bios......they are to help those that have seen "TTATT"......not those still in......
