Oh guess I should bring in the other side of the argument. What about S. Korea, Japan and the US... I can see several reasons why this "sinking" would play into their favor. Which leads me to suspect this may be another Gulf of Tonkin incident. A good Korean War II would really get this economy going. The draft would reduce unemployment, GM already owned by the government can build the Tanks. You see were this is going? Very FDR'ish.

Sinking of S. Korea ship. Gulf of Tonkin part II?
by Cagefighter inokay... someone is lying but who?.
naturally i am inclined to think kim jung il is crazy enough to sink the s. korean ship but if you really think about it what would n.korea have to gain?.
n. korea's sabre rattling sounds like a nation that does not want to go to war.

Okay... someone is lying but who?
Naturally I am inclined to think Kim Jung Il is crazy enough to sink the S. Korean ship but if you really think about it what would N.Korea have to gain?
Furthermore. N. Korea's sabre rattling sounds like a nation that does not want to go to war. It sounds now like they do not wish a confrontation and are assuming a strong posture a la Reagan or Kennedy in the cold war.
Thoughts please? I do not know what to think of this one. I think the N. Koreans are crazy enough to pull off anything but there is nothing in this for them from what I can tell. China wants them there and is supporting them if we start this war again all that is up in the air.

"This Generation" New Light:" A Death Sentence For 40-50-Something JWs
by Room 215 inone of the mesages emanating from the "new light"rhetoric is that it might be prudent to prepare to die before armageddon.
better to forget about the assurances that "you will never grow old, much less die" in this old system; maybe it's time to enact a macabre plan b and latch onto a cemetary plot and prepaid funerals....

by Mythbuster ina devoted married couple were found dead at their home in wakefield after an apparent suicide pact.. .
jehovah's witnesses are understood to have alerted police after noticing a strong smell coming from the couple's home in milton crescent, lupset, on tuesday.. officers broke through the back door and discovered the bodies of diane hardcastle, in her 40s, and her husband derek, aged in his 50s.. police say there are no suspicious circumstances and are believed to be investigating the possibility the couple deliberately overdosed on unknown tablets.. it is unclear how long the couple had been dead before they were discovered.. neighbours bernard and margaret stringer, said mr hardcastle suffered from kidney problems and had been undergoing dialysis treatment for a number of years.. mrs stringer, 71, said: "they were friendly enough and would pass the time of day.

I'd love to see this turned into and "experience" at the assembly.. If only we didn't have that extra bagel and gotten into field service at 5AM that day... Maybe we could have shown them "the truth" before they died.

Athletics helps develope leadership and confidence as well as independence.... No offense to you converts... But I never saw a JW that was confident, independent or a leader. There were some assertive assholes but none were leaders.

The WHO at the Super Bowl!
by lepermessiah ini was having a conversation with a younger guy at work - he barely knew who the who was....... he was telling me that he recognized the songs but thought they sounded pretty rough.. i told him that i wish he could have seen them even 10 years ago - i saw them live in 2000 and roger still sounded awesome, and pete was still.....pete!.
the real big loss was losing the ox - john entwistle was so important to that band.
he was amazing live....... moon was a huge loss, but after je passed, i really wish they would have stopped performing live as the who.. here is an awesome taste of him in action.......rip ox............ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvl39lbzgmw.
