Did you know that the only requirement to signing up on the JW plan with DEI Hosting is providing the 3 bold words in the 2nd paragraph of the Advanced Medical Directive? The benefit of doing so is a discount on your hosting from the regular price. Someone should sign up on one of their JW plans and host their anti-JW website. It probably would not take too long for them to knock you off. Still, it would be funnier than hell for it to happen on a JW owned hosting service.

by Jourles inyes, that is correct.
bethel coach tours will make your trip to ny more enjoyable by taking you to the united nations building on a sightseeing trip.. as per their website:.
we can even put together a very enjoyable sightseeing itinerary: empire state building, the world's largest macy's, historical south st. seaport, china town / little italy, united nations building, metropolitan, museum of art, statue of liberty, see a broadway play, times square, central park, woolworth building, chrysler building, or even a manhattan / ny / hudson river cruise!.

If that is the case, then I am going to open my own travel agency and have tours. Along the way if any of the bros or sisters want to get some exercise, I will make stops at the local YMCA's. WOW, look at that old church! I wonder what it looks like inside? How about it everybody? Let's go in and check it out! We do not have to pray or anything, just look inside of it.
Effin' HYPOCRISY!

Incredible. I wonder how exactly they describe the UN when they go there? "Now brothers and sisters, we are pulling into the parking facility of the scarlet colored wild beast as described in the book of Revelation-uh-I mean the United Nations. Can anyone tell us how long the WTS was in bed-uh-involved-uh-associated-uh-used the library facilites here for the wonderful pictures that were printed in the Watchtower and Awake?"I wonder how it will take for them to remove that reference to the UN off of their website?

How do you feel about paying TAX?
by sleepy ini just had a shock today when i realised that i had just paid too much tax for last year.
i had forgotten to add almost 1000 pounds expenses to my tax return.. oh yes i'm going to get some money back.but should i be so hasty, this money will go toward policing , education and many other important needs of society.. maybe it would just go to some corrupt official or politician who will spend it on a slap up meal.. so how do you feel about paying your taxes.
are they too high or not high enought.. are there any better ways for keeping countries running smoothly.. also what taxes do you pay in other countries?.

Have you heard of Irwin Shiff? If not, read through his website. It is a true eye opener. I'm waiting for my second book from him. Pretty incredible material.

If Armegeddon is so close.......
by LDH inwhy don't any of the elders have plans for when it happens--kind of like a re-grouping thing?.
ginny's post got me thinking.. why don't any of 'jehovah's people' know what to do during and after armeggedon if it's so important that they survive?!?!?.
where is the secret book "surviving armegeddon?".

Nah, the answer is obvious. Every JW knows what to do. It is their most basic instinct.
Run like mad to the nearest KH when the $hit hits the fan. Too bad the KH's will most likely be destroyed along with everything else if the artistry in the literature is a correct depiction of things to come.

I was at the SM last night.....
by VioletAnai inthey were discussing sodom and gomorah and how if jah had found a few righteous men in that city, both cities would be spared.
not a one was found.
however, they mention jah protected lot and his daughters, as they were faithful and living nearby.
-

Lot was spared although he offered up his virgin daughters to the mob
I always thought about that and wondered if they got Lot drunk on purpose and then got pregnant to defy their father for what he tried to do to them but their plan backfired.
Reminds me of a riddle: Two men were brothers. Their father was their grandfather. Who were these two brothers?

Underage Membership - Legal Defense Against DF
by obiefernandez inthis topic was inspired by the can you sue the watchtower... http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=21122&site=3.
it appears that the legal defense of the society is based on voluntary association, and based on that membership a person is by law subject to the eclessiastical tribunals (judicial committees) of jehovah's witnesses.
it immediately brings to mind the fact that many of us began association or were baptized while still minors.

We have all heard about your baptism as being "the most important day in your life," "a day more important than even your wedding day." Those statements are factual and true - in everyone's case. I am willing to wager that every single baptised JW has heard these words in one form or another during their lifetime.
If one is able to make such an important life altering decision, from any age such as 8 or 9 years old, then by using sound reason, it is also acceptable for an 8 or 9 year old to get married is it not? If not, why not? How would a judge view this? Does a youngster under the age of 10 really have the mental facilities to make this choice on their own without coercion from family members? When I was 10, I do not believe I actually knew what it meant to be baptised. In my mind then, what purpose did it serve?
Taking your scenario to court would be a difficult task. If anything, the responsibility lies with the parents. They are the ones responsible for the upbringing of their child and the molding thereof. You said that you were baptised at the age of 16 due to pressure from your parents. What would have happened if you did not comply? Would you have been kicked out of the house? Looked upon as 'worldly' by the other kids in the hall? Who cares what the other kids think. If your parents would have kicked you out, what recourse could you get if you took your own parents to court? Can you imagine the stink that it would cause locally in the press if you leaked it to reporters? I'm sure the elders and your parents would love that kind of recognition. Here's you, kicked out, living on the streets, simply because you do not want to be baptised into your parents religion? Man, if I were a reporter, that would make first page news in my paper.
Come to think of it, that would be a great scenario for any youth today. Do you think your parents would truly love you if they kicked you out because you did not get baptised? That is one of the most conditional cases of love there is.

WARNING - THE WTBS CAN LOCATE YOU
by Jim Dee inguys and girls.
the society have now instituted carnivore - their data tracking system installed into the uk bethel to track all apostate email and activity.
the reason is the amount of "leaks" of confidential mail and facts.. they have tried and failed with legal blocking, so now they are plugging the leaks, these guys were brought into mill hill late last year after the leak of the june 1 letter.. their method is to use message boards and chat rooms for the "disaffected" and get them to go to other "society monitored" web sites.

There is no way the WT can find your identity (legally) through IP addresses if you are a normal dialup/cable/satelite/dsl user.
Not exactly true. If you are running a personal web server over a statically OR dynamically assigned ip address and you visit a site such as jw.com using the same ip as your web server(say, behind your router if you are using one?), Simon can visit that ip address and viola! your personal web server is running for him(or anyone) to see. And if you happen to have all of your personal information on your web site for everyone to check out, well then, there you go. I have a personal web site running on one of my home computers, but never use that same connection for surfing the web for that exact same reason. I use a proxy connection for surfing. And if you can figure out my location from that, then you deserve to know who I am.
