the social networks facebook , twitter, youtube, etc.
are valuable tools in creating the energy to incite apostates of the watchtower org.
to come out and protest and expose the cover-ups, the child molesters, the shunning and breaking up of families going on in the jehovah's witness religion.. the protest saturday june 25th 2011 from 7 am until 1 pm in front of the pepsi coliseum in quebec city against the watchtower is getting lots of attention on the internet.. protesters are now able to organize and and reach millions of people who have been hurt by this destructive cult.. jean-philippe cossette founder and webmaster of www.watchowerlies.com.
Makes me wonder...If what he is doing does help expose the WT how many here will change their tune about him?
**I hope what you do helps, and if you are shown that a change in tactics is needed you will be able to make those changes.

i've always liked tatoos and disagreed with the wt's stand on them.
i just turned 42 on may 14 and think its about time i get one.
nothing drastic, just a small lilly flower on my left shoulder.
I haven't stopped caring about what people think or how my decisions will affect them...I just stopped letting their feelings have the final say in my decisions. Everyone has an opinion...and that's fine...just don't force it on me. Just because you don't like something doesn't make it wrong or a bad thing to do...it's just your opinion and you can make whatever decision you want for yourself.
At 56 I had my first tattoo...It has personal meaning, it will always represent me...Only time will tell if I wish I didn’t get it…but I can’t imagine I will.
In 20 years who will care? I won't!!!

i am new to this site, just finding my way around.. i've been studying with jw's for about 15 months.
i'm an unbaptised publisher, and until recently never missed a meeting, have been out "on the service" quite a lot.
i've been having difficulties with one of the jw's studying with me and something happened which was just unacceptable.
Jw's have all the traits of a cult...Read the below it was worth sharing...

I have not been able to read the above information but agree that prevention is the key...
I believe..."The truth will set you free" but to be truly-free you have to have the freedom to explore all information.

loved this article in australia.
five other end-of-world predictions: .
1. followers of william miller believed the world would end on october 22, 1844.. 2.the jehovah's witness religion has predicted the end of the world in 1914, 1915, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1941, 1975 and 1994.. 3. charles wesley, founder of the methodist church, predicted the world would end in 1794.. 4. famous forecaster nostradamus predicted doomsday would happen in july 1999.. 5. english mystic joanna southcott predicted the world would end on october 19, 1814, when she gave birth to the messiah.. .
It's amazing how the R&F don't even understand the very things they claim to believe in wholeheartedly.
OMG...how true this is...sad but it-is-what-it is.

hey everybody, i'm in the middle of an ongoing debate w/some jws and they are asserting that everyone knows what they're getting into when they are studying and getting baptized and that nobody forces anyone to become a jw and that you can leave anytime you want.
ok, we know that's not true.
how would you counter that argument?
third-party observe their hearing for fairness.
To be fair or I should say that there was one time that I know of that someone was allowed to be a witness to the JC hearing (I was the observer). It took an act of GOD (?) to get me in the meeting...they did not like it, want to, or inclined to agree but the CO said let it happen.
I hope to have the freedom one day to relate this...but doing so now will shout my name out loud. I have not read another experience like mine, about being allowed to be in several meetings as an observer...so it doesn't appear to be something that is allowed or at least known that you can request it.

i post on a couple of forums and read and lurk and all that stuff.. a theme that seems to be gaining momentum is about how the gb are 'tightening their grip' and 'becoming more cultish'.. i don't read the publications anymore and oddly i read extracts of them on the forums.. punk is babbling now.............sorry...................my questions are (sorry if they're a bit long.
sorry if i sound like satan: 'is it really so?
' but then i am a mentally diseased apostate).. 1. are the gb really tightening their grip or is it just the same as it ever was........but..........we just notice the propaganda more now we're out?.
They are not pulling any punches...OBEY, OBEY, OBEY...US
