  thanks: Blondie...my Mom just Im me and said "the study really made her examine herself, and how one can sure put oneself above Jeh's thinking on situations. And how she was really going to pray to Jeh for help"---I feel so sad for her but she in in her late 70s and I don't know if she will benefit from the "real truth". Some things do bother her but she feels that this is Gods Org. To wake up and realize you wasted your whole life...not sure if that is even something that I would want at 78 years old.

  i found this site hoping to read topics submitted by jw's so i could learn more, but it just seems to be everyone else here except them.

  just about every topic and member is just bashing jw's and their teachings.

  this site should be renamed "jwbashertrolls.net".

  Wt 2006 May 15 p.22: 8 During the final period of the “ancient world” that perished in the Flood, Noah was a faithful “preacher of righteousness.” (2 Peter 2:5) In these last days of the present system of things, Jehovah’s people are making known God’s righteous standards and are declaring good news about the possibility of surviving into the new world. (2 Peter 3:9-13) Just as Noah and his God-fearing family were preserved in the ark, survival of individuals today depends on their faith and their loyal association with the earthly part of Jehovah’s universal organization (???) where's the scriptural backing???

  Wt 1989 Sept.1 p.19: 7 Only Jehovah’s Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the “great crowd,” as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil...

  Wt 1983 Feb.15 p.12: Similarly, Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it.

  • Where's the scriptural backing for the above statements? The ones that are quoted do not back up the thought Jw's are presenting.

  the first century brothers are on the cover, going door to door with what look like leather messenger bags.. the first article is entitled, are all "christians" christian.

  and you can tell by the picture that anyone with a beard or goatee is definitely not a real christian.. the next article, remain in my word has this quote that condemns catholics but seems eerily close to what jws believe:.

  cedars ...yes the other forms of information were very helpful and solidified what I was learning. For me the combinations of information avenues are what enabled me to start knowing what was true or at least truer...very disconcerting to learn what u thought was true...is not.

  JWFACTS.COM was the best site I found and I let as many as I can know of it.

  Over 50 years in...

  Edited...I also had doubts because of the changing in teachings throughout the years but always believed this was Gods Chosen Org...what a mind controlling group.

  • Well what I CAN say without any figures like those shown here...(drum roll)...the INTERNET IS what enabled me and mine to see the TRUTH ABOUT THE TRUTH...so help me god. (hard core evidence--not readily available elsewhere and easy to find).

  • What I also know is, even if the internet is not "hurting" the Wt...I KNOW IT HAS HELPED ME AND MANY ON THIS SITE...TO EXCAPE...to some degree.

  • I can even access the internet sitting on the toilet...now that's far reaching and going places where no man has been before...(well except by my doctor)

  i'm sure this has been brought up before, but how can anyone claim that this is establishing some sort of organization?

  it's beyond out of context, if you just look at verse 45 or 45-47. it's clearly about the contrast between people who are always behaving themselves and people who will only behave themselves when they think jesus will return.

  among all of the stuff that i've learned after the bf tried to get me interested in jw-ness, this is one of the dumbest bible quote mining or scripture twisting i've encountered.

  • It's because we believed what were told...there was no reason to not trust them. Hope was in Jah solving all our problems very soon, that seems to be what our minds were/are focused on. then one day we can see the light and wonder how we did not see it for what it is.

  Gathering summaries for class action lawsuit..... Six Screens Conference call

  former jehovah's witness mark palo featured on free minds, who claims when he was a young boy was raped at the world headquarters of jehovah's witnesses by a governing body member named leo greenlees and says his life has been adversely affected by the watchtower org.. he has lost most of his family, over indulged with alcohol and has faced unrelentless problems both physically and emotionally.. marks therapist is willing to speak up in a court of law and expose the evils of the watchtower society.. mark will be our guest in the 7 pm to 9 pm hours.. .

  the first amendment (freedom of religion) has always been on the watchtowers side in stopping class action lawsuits against them but a stunning new twist has emerged that may open up the flood gates for scores of new lawsuits.. if your life has been turned upside down by the watchtower organization and would like to participate in and perhaps be compensated for the life altering damage caused to you then dial into the six screens of the watchtower conference call sat.

  i just found a link to the newest 2010 elders book and downloaded the entire pdf from another site.

  i would love a pdf of the latest private letters regarding: "medical records", "information sharing".

  "apostates", "disfellowshipping" "conditional gifts/loans" "senior abuse" and "child abuse".

  The main thing you should be concerned about is that it is illegal and unethical to ask for documents that you have no legal right to possess. And then you want to turn around and use these unethically obtained documents in a real Civil rights case? Really?

  Blood Transfusion?

  considering the latest questions from readers article on blood transfusion, i was wondering what the feelings are among this forums participants about blood transfusion.

  over the years the society has been receiving a growing amount of letters on the subject of blood and blood transfusion.

  any interesting biblical perspectives here about whether "abstain from blood" means abstain from blood transfusion?

  I sympathize with your situation and the governing body has allowed blood fractions for any who find themselves in an emergency.

  • Who are they to allow or not allow anything??? WTF...did you hear and understand what you said?

  • I hope you don't believe they have the God given right to make these life altering rulings?

  • If it is not stated just “so” in the bible...then no absolute decree can be made…the decision would be yours alone based on YOUR BIBLE TRAINED CONCIENCE.
