i am living and working in kuwait in the middle east where the islamic religion is everything.
it is like the watchtower all over again.

Being in the middle east gave me insight on what really is going on in the world.
Our culture in the states is like a teen girl with daddys credit card. All we care about is consumerism.
They still operate as they did when Muhammed was alive. They have a continuous group memory that spans thousands of years. Its in their DNA. So they are like a evil wise old man. The little girl with the credit card is gonna end up his bitch!
i was abused by my father growing up.
physically and emotionally.. as a entered my adult life i had next to no self esteem, in part because he didn't really attempt to help me get some because i didn't chose the career path that he dreamed for me.. 2 years ago i forgave him.
i let go of the anger that i had for him because i knew that when it was all said and done, he did what he did and i believe that he did his best.
Dont worry about forgiving the WT.
Realize they are imperfect and the monster they become wasnt the same lamb they started out with. I see the honor of its founding fathers. Not taking the churches boxed christianity. They became true bible students.
They have nothing to do with you and youre personal relationship to God. Dont let man ever get in between you and God. Youre life will be richer with a spiritual connection, you make with the the universe.

several years ago when jws built a new kingdom hall in the area, they sold the old one to a pentecostal church!.
i thought, "now wait a minute.
they took a building dedicated `to the service of jehovah' and transfered title to one of the 'churches of christendom' to be used in their 'satan worship'???".
its just a building once they put it up for sale. they arent supporting christendom. they didnt seek out another church to buy it. thats just who the realitor got to buy it.

i know this is a pointless question, but what if this happened:.
you came home from work one day, sat down, and turned on the tv.
there is a sudden announcement that the un has banned all religion.
This is the problem with false prophecy. Who says its gonna come from the UN? With everyone looking for it to come from them no one is watching the back gate. And the great tribulation isnt against Gods people. Its against all religion. The weak ones that are in it for the money will fail. I think the ones that make it to the new system will be individuals that set them selves aside from the unfolding drama. "No part of the world".
i'll just come out and say it... i don't give a f**k about my birthday.

I could care less too!!! But I do see an need for out of the ordinary days. Days of celebration. I like to mark the seasons with season appropriate celebrations. apple pie in fall, canning salsa in late summer, still do turkey day. a ride on the blue ridge parkway when the leaves turn. This is my holidays.
