EE, what camera are you using? What quality setting? Are your lenses able to shoot in low light? i.e. f/2.8 or lower etc? Also, just a tip, shoot in the RAW, when you go to crop your shot it won't lose pixels as it would in JPEG.

White Dove - I've been reading a couple books that have been helping me open my eyes. Mistakes Were Made (but not by me) and The Untethered Soul. Great books on the human mind and psychology. Mistakes Were Made goes into Cognitive Dissonance and Self-Justification, great read so far! I highly recommend them White Dove.
Back on topic, the WTBTS promotes mental retardation. They block critical thinking skills, they promote NOT going to college, no independant thinking, no going outside of what they print to research practically anything.

Interesting post. I've started delving into Buddhism. I had a lot of misconceived ideas on the beliefs held. I'm actually enjoying learning something that makes sense to me the more I look into it.
Ignorance is high amoung JW's, they really do put everything on faith and not enough testing, not enough research, not enough cognizance of anything they are taught.

I don't think that a "schism" will happen again though. The org will continue to plug along, clamping down the R&F. It will be an exodus, how large we can't really say, but something is brewing.

I think this is a question that keeps surfacing every few weeks. It is a valid point though, because so many are asking the same question, and I do truly believe that within the next 4-5 years some type of exodus will happen, or shortly thereafter. The org is getting more restrictive, more rules, more do this or else and bolder in their writing. So it's bound to push the divide wider.
