excuse me so called holy spirit directed governing body; what do you do when you discover that a long term hospital liaison committee elder who gives talks at all1 day assemblies, 2 day assemblies & district assemblies and is quite prominent n the victorian/nsw circuit, is addicted to pornography, particularly under age and bestiality porno?

and oh, if you have print outs of his internet log ins and internet history fully detailing his log ins from his work computer???

and im not talking breach of privacy, im talking his breach of work usage of computers, of which im in charge of the it.

second, who knows, he's probably a pedophile. you may end up having something bigger than you thought. id write a letter to a local newspaper or radiostation after notifying the police. you can be sure that jehovah will not take care of this. the whole "leave it to jah" bs line is getting old and used up. the wts must learn to "take it like a man" so to speak and stop shifting responsibility to jehovah everytime they fuck up with their shite.

New resolution passed at last service meeting? crazy!!

so my ex who has gone back to the wts and is being given the tough love and is questioning whether shes makin the right move.

she told me at the last service meeting that there was a resolution passed that stated that all leftover balances in the congregations accounts would be sent to the society to be used where the need is great, to help out with natural disasters etc and that the funds would be sent back to the congregation if they needed it.. has anyone else who is still in or knows active witnesses heard of this new resolution?

apparently its everywhere in canada as far as i was told .. .

outlaw! dude ur a hoot! lmfao! but so true! i have to say i embarassingly remember when theyd pass financial resolutions raising my hand like a fukin robot. then ud always have those eager to please ass licking brothers whod all raise their hands to second it. so mindless and sheeplike. haha! its actually quite amusing and sad at the same time to see people giving so much of their souls to the machine that is the wts.

i thought it would be interesting to discuss the things we believed as jw's, but were kind of embarassed about and didn't tell the public about, since it would make us look ridiculous.......... one thing i can think of is the idea that only jw's will make it through armageddon.

everyone else would be destroyed.

i would never tell anyone that even though we all believed it.

i remember in highschool there was a bunch of girls that wanted to go out with me but i was so hardcore i would always bs my way out of any conversation. i would have to say the one thing id keep hush is the fact that jws only date with the intent of marriage. wtf...??

Can't fault Witnesses for their level of dedication.

can't doubt the dedication of most witnesses.. .

attending 5 meetings a week; doing 10 hours of fieldservice (door-to-door) each month; working hard for the reward of eternal life on paradise earth; willingness to shun their best friends and family members if these individuals are disfellowshipped from the organization; denying their young children blood transfusions even if it might save their lives; deciding not do any independant thinking apart from their religion; willingness to change their beliefs every time their anointed leaders change their minds on doctrinal matters....the list goes on and on.. .

yes, it's amazing what people without the indwelling holy spirit will dedicate themselves to do.. .

I'm thoroughly convinced that they are the ones "blinded by satan" so that the light can't shine through. They are the most closed minded people I have ever met. Show em black on white that they're wrong and they will hypocritically change the subject or just dismiss you as an apostate. Its like a madman who swears that everyone is out to get him...only problem is its only in his head.

Yaahh the dubs in my neck of the woods use a convention hall that serves as congregations for 4 territories and also serves as convention center for all 1 and 2 day assemblies in the area. They say its like 7000 for a day to rent the assembly hall part of the complex which is owned by the wts and paid for by its members...wtf!! When I asked why its so high the elder said there was other costs like the sound system (owned by the WTS) the heating and AC (still doesn't add up..) And other costs associated with the event (who knows where all that cash really goes to..). Its actually a way for the society to use their assets to turn a tax free profit at the year end. You see if the society has convention centers collecting triple or quadruple what any other place would charge its a great way to fleece the flock. Meek rhymes with sheep. They're so sheeplike that they follow the shepard z(the GB) without question. .

December 15th WT gives example of sister who quit her job so she could go to an convention.

i was beyond mad when i heard this.

it is on page 30 of the wt.. it says "a pioneer named roxana is one who has seen how jehovah provides for his people.

when she asked her employer for permission to take some days off to attend one of our conventions, he angrily retorted that if she went, he would fire her.

For every BS story like this that you hear there's probably a thousand that you don't hear of about sacrifice for the WTS and GB that land families bankrupt because they're waiting on jah to provide. Although the rare few that you do hear about they always progress to become elders and CO's and DO's. Funny how jehovah works...

The WTS and their "effort to convert and judge the world is a poison to society. You can't just walk into a country and expect to uproot strong engrained customs and traditions. No wonder they're "persecuted" so much. The only reason you don't see kingdom halls getting lit on fire and the religion literally driven out is because we live in politically stable countries. If north america were to fall into political chaos for some reason the people would drive out this corrossive dividing wedge of a cult.
