  Armageddon Imminent In United Kingdom.

  uk witnesses thought that armageddon had come last night, as much of the country was rocked by an earthquake - and we don't get earthquakes in england!

  the british geological survey says the epicentre of the earthquake was "right under the city of birmingham" - the land of farkel's ancestors.

  but people as far apart as south and west wales, northamptonshire, south yorkshire and oxfordshire felt the tremors which shook homes, broke windows and set off alarms at around 12.54am.

  all humans are mentaly ill.well sort of.since there is no "correct" standard of mental fitness to which humans can measure themselves its dificult to know what is sane.. most people do or think things other find strange, in fact i have yet to meet anyone who does not do at least one thing i find strange, and i expect people would think the same about me.. but the real problem is that humans are delusional.we believe or think things that arn't true.. you have crinimals who justify what they do to others in their minds and won't admit they are wrong.greedy business men who reason that they are not harming anyone by their greedy ways.people going to auditions to be a pop star who think they can sing when they cant.people who follow the jehovahs witness organisation no matter what.in fact how many of us can really admit to our flaws and weakness when we think we are doing a good job?that is the important part , when we think we are doing right or want something we shouldn't have and justify it , we are deluding ourselves.we are showing a sign of irrantionality in our judgment of our actions.. its hard to go through life without justifying what we do.those who always think they are wrong tend to end up going mad anyway.. but it seams to be a function of the brain to delude ourselves when we need too.the brain lies to us.this makes us act irrationaly and prevents us from considering the real facts.

  CO's and DO's meeting in the UK

  at the risk of being called a "troll" again , i will share just one of the items discussed at the co's and do's emergency meeting.

  so as not to be doubted, this is to be covered at most/all of the co's and do's visits over the next 6 months in the uk.

  the society is concerned about the level of waste and expense caused by excess wt and awakes being ordered by the brothers and sisters which are then not put into the hands of the public.

  This is considered an "emergency meeting"? Gimme a break.............they should have known that they were going to lose alot of $$$ when they went to the "donation" method in order to avoid paying taxes. Witnesses are notoriously cheap and most don't put anything in the contribution box when they get their literature........

  And considering the monumental problem they have regarding pedophiles and lawsuits, I think they've shown once again that they've got their priorities totally screwed up.

  what's the society's viewpoint on storing your own blood?

  i don't see anything in the bible that would hint there's anything wrong with re-using your own blood.......

  the paper describes one patient's visions while she was being evaluated for epilepsy and does not wrestle with issues of the soul.

  While science may be able to explain some of the NDEs as being simply neurons breaking down in the brain or whatever they say, I'd really like to know how they would explain a situation where someone has a NDE, and meets a brother they never even knew they had; or they can hear conversations going on in other rooms in the hospital, or they can describe exactly what's going on in the operating room while they're at death's door. A simple part of the brain under stress? Not bloody likely. While I have a great respect for science, they will go to the ends of the earth to try and explain away every single phenomenon people have as nothing more than "it's all in your head."

  I'm more and more convinced that these experiences are real but you'll never convince science of that. One things for sure: we'll all find out one day.........

  the issue of child molestation among jehovah's witnesses is not going to go away ... no amount of the watchtower society trying to ignore it, or watching silly videos about the ancient jewish men, korah, dathan, and abiraham will change the hard fact that the watchtower bible & tract society and its associated organizations must and will be forced to change their policies on how they treat minor jehovah's witness children.

  today, nbc once again contacted me for additional information and details to help them in their understanding and investigation of this serious issue.

  i know of others being contacted throughout the united states ... many of whom will provide significant information and details that is going to make this issue come out into the light of day more and more ... .

  Elder removed because of son's mistake...more BS

  wild turkey ran into an elder he knows in business and the brother didnt know about us d/a ourselves.

  which is shocking to me, since there is so much gossip always going on, now i am sure everyone who doesnt know soon will.. anyway, this brother has been an elder for many years, and he told my husband that he was removed because his son, who is a senior in high school was publicly reproved.

  i think this is very sad , only because of more of their polices and backward ways of thinking.

  Lyin' Eyes, they just don't care. Their behaviour reminds me more and more of the planters in the Old South and the way they treated their slaves: slaves weren't allowed to read or write or have any thoughts or opinions of their own. Those few who were actually allowed (out of necessity) to read and write, they could only do so with the masters' permission and even then they were viewed with suspicion and were called "uppity niggers" for "forgetting their place and getting above themselves"........sounds kinda like "running ahead of the Organization", eh?

  Any slave caught with "independent thinking" (like maybe running away) was severely punished and if they actually DID manage to escape, if caught, they were killed as an example to any other slave considering trying to leave.

  Same thing happens in the Organization: if you even THINK of leaving, or of questioning the beliefs (no matter how dumb they might be), you'll be punished mentally and spiritually. And if you actually DO manage to escape, you'll be spiritually killed as an example to anyone else in the congregation considering trying to leave.

  They are chauvanists to the extreme..........I remember the brother who took my bookstudy years ago made some stupid comment that we're all in this predicament because Eve was so dumb so took a bite of the forbidden fruit. I immediately spoke up and said "yes, but Adam ate it KNOWING that what he was doing was wrong, so that makes him twice as stupid as her."

  LOL! He did NOT appreciate the comment and I got told after that it was an "inappropriate comment to make."
