CANADA DAY vs. INDEPENDENCE DAY!

i was coming home this evening from some ex-witness friends of mine (after part-y-ing), and i had the windows on my car down, playing one of elvis' tapes..........i was stopped at the stop light and i noticed several people sitting on the street giving me dirty looks and i couldn't figure out why at first.......then it dawned on me: they were waiting to see the canada day parade and i was playing "dixie" on my car cd.........(hehehehehehehehe........) i guess not a smart thing to do........ the parade sucked dead rocks and i was just wondering if it was only in my locale, or if other canadians also experienced a crap-o-rama parade.........seeing as this is the first july 4th party since 9-11, i assume that americans will be going all-out in their display of patriotism (i can't blame em) and i wanted to see what others had to say about their country's celebration.......hell up here, all the stores, malls, everything closes up like a ghost town - nothing's open on canada day............

I was not assuming that people were giving me dirty looks - they were. You missed the entire point of my email. I did not intentionally start playing "Dixie" in front of a crowd of Canadians - like I said I had put in a tape of Elvis' and that happened to be the song playing when I pulled up to the stop light. Not putting two and two together, I (literally) couldn't figure out why I was getting these bizarre looks, because NO, I was not playing it loud. It took a few minutes to realize it was because I was inadvertently playing a very "patriotic" song from another country on Canada Day. What are the chances that that particular song would come on at that particular moment and it struck me as funny.

This was not a slam against other nations, because of course 9/11 affected everyone, but I hate to point out the obvious that this happened on American soil, and since this is the first July 4th since the attack, I'm sure Americans will be going all as a reminder of their freedom.

What a hypocrite Rutherford was! Saying that he's "not the conscience" of all other Witnesses (at that time). What a load of CRAP! If any Witness felt it their patriotic duty to go fight for freedom, then he would have been immediately kicked out of the organization for going against what Rutherford said!

I also find it nauseating whenever the Watchtower or any other of the "study aids" say stuff like "....so Catholics kill Catholics and Protestants fight Protestants........" etc. etc. etc. They are PURPOSELY missing the big picture. War and killing people is never nice, but unfortunately, it's a reality that we've lived with since Cain killed Abel and sometimes war is necessary.

I would like to ask all smuggly superior Witnesses who think they're so much better than "Christendom" because they didn't fight in WWII: What would have happened if ALL Americans had refused to take up arms and fight Hitler and Japan? Would we be sitting here today, enjoying Freedom of Religion? Not bloodly likely. Jehovah's Witnesses enjoy this freedom today because brave men who didn't even know them, went and fought the enemy and in alot of cases, gave their lives, so that you and I could live as free people, and not under some Dictatorship that hated anyone who wasn't blond hair/blue eyed.

So the next time, some brain-dead Witness says anything to you about how Christians shouldn't fight in wars, I'd maybe ask them the above-mentioned question and see what they say.

Here's a little something I found very interesting........apparently, coconut milk has the exact same plasma properties as what our blood does...........people in third world countries who have lost alot of blood and who have no access to a hospital, have been kept alive by drinking large quantities of coconut milk............while I don't believe everything I read on the Net, there were quite a few articles about this that I found to be quite interesting. next to the article, a seperate column liste some beliefs of jehovah's witnesses, after stating briefly who they are and how they originated.. the article then listed their beliefs as follows:.

What a bunch of sick bastards............the Society has proven that they are WORSE than the Catholic Church by far; at least when caught red-handed, the Catholic Church has issued statements of apology to the victims of their pedophiles and have implemented new "laws" within the church to show that they are at least TRYING to make positive changes.

The fact that the so-called "spiritiual leaders" at Bethel refuse to apologize to victims, (and in fact, call them all a bunch of liars), acknowledge any wrong-doing on their part, or refuse to change their policies and procedures when it comes to dealing with pedophiles, shows them to be the most hypocritical, pathetic, arrogant, stubborn PIGS on earth. If you read Matthew chapter 23 and exchange the word "Pharisee" with the words "Governing Body", it's no damn different......here's a couple of examples:

Matt. 23: 2-6:

Then Jesus spoke to the crowd...saying: The [Governing Body] have seated themselves in the seat of Moses (or in this case, Jehovah himself)...........do not do according to their deeds, for they say but do not perform. They bind up heavy loads and put them upon the shoulders of [the rank and file Witness], but they themselves are not willing to budge them with their finger.......... Woe to you [Governing Body members], hypocrites! because you shut up the kingdom of heaves before men; for you yourselves do not go in, neither do you permit those on their way in to go in (unless of course, you were baptized before 1935).......Woe to you [GB members], because you traverse sea and dry land to make one [Jehovah's Witness] and when he becomes one, you make him a subject for Gehenna twice as much so as yourselves............Woe to you [GB members], hypocrites! because you resemble whitewashed graves, which outwardly appear beautiful but inside are full of dead men's bones and of every sort of uncleanness. none here- but my brother & his wife- both good witnesses got married- didn't get to complete the act for 6 weeks- his wife had no idea he was so big- and kept crying & was afraid.

Well, I'm not married, (still a virgin........hahahaha.......some guy's in for a big surprise one day when I finally get up the nerve to go have sex) so this isn't one about me, but all my friends got married real young (17 or 18) and here are some quotes they gave me about their wedding night sex......:
