by Mary inif any of the child molestation cases actually go to court, or if any of those witnesses that get disfellowshipped sue the society, what are the chances that some of the governing body members would get subpeoned to testify in court?
to me, this would be the best thing that could happen: these morons having to testify in open court and having to answer some pretty tough questions about their absurd policies and why these people have been disfellowshipped.. they'd look as stupid as freddie franz did when he was in court and said that jehovah was the editor of the watchtower since 1931..............i can see these bozos saying the same thing:.

Bill, I hope you're reading this: Number 1: You are under NO obligation to meet with these twits. Perhaps you should ask them to show you from THE BIBLE, what sin you've committed that would warrant a "judicial committe". Obviously, they can't. Also, I would like to advise you, that, despite their "rules" on "no lawyers allowed", they have absolutely no right to deny you this, and according to Freedom of Religion and Freeness of Speech, you most certainly would be allowed, by LAW, to bring a lawyer to this meeting, if you choose to go.
Just because they say "not allowed", doesn't mean squat. By law, you have every right to have fair representation. If they refuse to acknowledge your basic rights, then don't meet with them.
I know of one brother a few years ago, and the elders in his hall were always trying to get something on him, just to try and show they were "in charge"......they finally trumped up some false charges against him and said they wanted to meet with him to "discuss it". He knew full well that no matter what he said, they would try and disfellowship him, so he brought a lawyer with him
The elders said "We're sorry, he's not allowed to have an attorney present at this meeting."
The lawyer looked them all straight in the eye and said "I assure you sirs, he most certainly IS allowed to have an attorney present if he's being judged."
Needless to say, he was not disfellowshipped.

I would say that "11th Hour" sounds suspiciously like YouKnow/FredHall, droning on and on and on about being "annointed" even though they're "young"..........the posting comes across as the ol' "holier-than-thou" crap, as though this is somehow "proof" that they are "annointed". Obviously, this person is very delusional, just like YK/FH: has no friends in the congregation, is considered a loser by one and all, tries to be a kiss-ass, but even the elders don't want anything to do with them, so they come to a site like this and try and convince everyone and themselves, that they are now "better" than everyone, as they have the "heavenly calling"..........
Gimme a break, this person needs to seek some professional help and FAST!!!

allow me to share some things about this man that may help to shed some light on his mindset as a jw.. one of the most important things i have found when dealing with "loyal" jw on the net is to find out thier status with in the org, esp if they are male- .
you see this organization is a "position" driven organization, esp for males and if they have no position within thier local congo - other than mike handler after being a jw for years then that means in most cases the male jw is considered a flunky- we have seen guys as young as 17 being appointed as ms-.

I don't have children, so I can't even imagine how the parents must feel, but they need to publically flog this son of a bitch when they find him, and then hang him in a public square...........
I think someone needs to develop some sort of microchip that you could have implanted in your kids that could track them. Statistically speaking, if you haven't found a missing child within 3 hours of their abduction, chances are almost nil that you'll find them alive. The reason is simple: you've got a bunch of sick twisted pig pedophiles out there that want to rape the child and then kill them so they can't identify them.

Suggestions on a Jw uniform!!

Why do Jws use id badges at assemblys?
by haujobbz ini have wondered why jws wear" id badges" at assemblys and not on the preaching work or at the hall,i know of someone who was stopped by an attendant because he wasnt wearing a badge.is it something to do with showing off our religious belief to outsiders, i must be honest i use to take mine off when leaving the assemblys but i noticed many wearing theres even when going home on the bus or walking home "i knew of 1 who wore his to bed", mormons wear id cards on their preaching work so do you think jws should.maybe due to the paedophile scandal jws may have to wear id badges especially paedophiles.

Thanks Andee for explaining the Leukemia to me...........what a horrifying disease. While I think every Witness should be able to choose for themselves whether or not they want a blood transfusion, I have serious doubts as to the effectiveness of blood transfusions in cases like this, although I could be wrong. As you said, it's the bone marrow itself that is faulty and needs fixing.........did they even TRY to find a match for her when they first found out she had leukemia?? That would make the most sense to me.
