  Star Trek "Nemesis" (Fluff)

  the new star trek movie, "nemesis" is premiering on december 13, 2002. i am really looking forward to it.

  although i grew up with the original, i must admit to a certain fondness for the next generation and to captain picard.

  He may have declared it, but he obviously never mentioned it on his original application form. My understanding is that you sign the application declaring your belief in God. If he had refused to sign the application, then the Boy Scouts would not have admitted him in to their club in the first place.

  Sorry, but I don't have any sympathy for this kid.........he SIGNED something saying he believed in a higher power.......in other words, he lied. Now however, he's claiming that the Boy Scouts are discriminating against him because he's an athiest and doesn't really believe in a higher power.

  This'll end up going to court after court and the Boy Scouts will probably lose, because god knows, we can't discriminate against someone who doesn't believe in God.........on the other hand, you can have your ass kicked out of public school if you happened to believe in God and try to say a prayer.........

  Give me a break............

  i was reading the post on our standing within the congregation http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=40040&site=3&page=3 and no matter what part of the world we live in, its always the same thing.. it is always the elders kids that get away with murder while the ones that are really trying to do the right thing always get blamed for it.. when i would mention this to my mum she would always reply with, satan has already got them.

  he is trying to get you.. if you are getting persecuted.. it means you are doing the right thing.. does that sound strange to anyone other then me?.

  us officials are signalling that a deal has been reached with france and russia to overcome their objections to a new resolution against iraq.

  senior diplomats are discussing the latest resolution drafted by the united states at a closed-door meeting of the un security council.

  iraq... will face serious consequences as a result of its continued violations of its obligations .

  I hope Bush bombs those bastards right in to the stone age..............what's it going to take? A few more planes crashing in to buildings in Canada, England, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain killing thousands more to get world suport?? ...........Saddam Hussein knew all about September 11th and he fully supported it. He's insane, he's a despot, a tyrant and don't think for a second he wouldn't kill all of us if the opportunity arose (after all, we're just a bunch of infidels).

  i'm heading down in to the big city tomorrow for a job interview......and will have a couple of hours to kill before subjecting myself to the interview itself (dreading it)...........i'm gonna be in the area of "angel" tube station on the northern line.........if anyone's near do they fancy a brew (tea), reckon it'll be around midday.. .
