all religion, no matter which one, was going to banned, and then the end would come.. what about a country like the us where it was founded on religious freedom?
where you have many political leaders here and elsewhere for that matter claiming that they are christians.

My Daughter's Letter to Elders!

"Hotel California" was considered pretty darn baaaaaaaaaaaad, anything by John Denver (not that anyone actually listened to him), "Call Me" by Blondie (from the movie "American Gigalo), all disco music and we were also informed that the disco lights could give you cancer.

WHAT SHUD HAPPEN TO THE PILOTS..........

this is a hard one.
as a canadian, i fully support the usa and obviously this disaster was not intentional and i'm sure the pilots must feel awful about it.

This is a hard one. As a Canadian, I fully support the USA and obviously this disaster was not intentional and I'm sure the pilots must feel awful about it. On the other hand, the one fired on them less than one minute after being told to "Hold Fire". They've admitted to taking speed before the mission, but is that really an excuse? What bothered me the most was President Bush's reaction to it: almost nothing. And the mother of one of the two pilots accused almost seems to think 'well, they're only Canadians." which didn't impress me.
So who's to blame here? And what should the punishment be?

Meetings in hiding places
by JH inif one day the government would put an end to jw meetings, how do you think the watchtower would get organized to keep meetings going?
they told us that meetings would be held in houses or in secret places.
i dont know of any house big enough to accommodate 80+ people.

What planet are you on? Every Witness and ex-Witness knows that there's a thousand things that you are forbidden to do unless you don't mind getting axed and shunned from your family and friends and everyone else in your world. Get your head out of your ass and wake up. Birthdays, voting, blood transfusions, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, reading ANYTHING against the JW religion, are ALL forbidden on pain of disfellowshipping, and everybody knows it.
No Apologies said: Actually, they allow all kinds of transfusions nowadays, just not whole blood cells.
Well now, isn't that mighty white of them! And what ever happened to their "Light" from Jehovah forbidding ANY kind of a transfusion?

Kelp you should ask your mother if the Catholics, Baptists, Jews, Mormons, Lutherans, Protestants, Presbyterians, Mennonites, Amish, Muslim, Buddists, also have the Holy Spirit. Because none of them have fallen apart. The Jews have had their religious beliefs for over 3,000 years, the Catholics almost 1700 years. I guess they can also make the same claim. Give her a chance to think about that for a minute and watch her squirm.
