  i haven't posted in years but i had to log in to share this story from my neck of the woods.

  second generation jehobo witless sex offender is caught with child pornography one year to the day after being charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor [i would link the article on his current arrest but it appears the article has been maliciously hacked with adult links in the text].

  but here is what a good witness he is: "the tip came from the national center for missing and exploited children, who forwarded information provided to them by rabbit, inc., a file sharing network, who had identified images on their servers with several usernames that linked to edgerly, including shaneallen, roadhammer, and lovejehovah1... he also explained his usernames to the detectives.

  Has anyone else tried the crazy approach to fading

  during my fade i started acting more and more bizarre (not brushing my hair, clothes that did not match, sleeping during meetings, non-sequitur answers) and i found that it really helped because most of the rank and file just thought i was bat sh*t crazy, and the elders were kind of happy not to have to deal with me.

  so has anyone done something similar?.

  My Dad is going to celebrate Christmas

  my dad has been in since 1967, been df'd five times but always came back.

  today i hinted that my kids had bought him something and he replied that he would like a chistmas list for the kids, and he is going to try and come up from sc for christmas.

  thats 3 of of my 5 family members out!!

  Oh No!!! A Witness saw me buying a Christmas tree

  doing the black friday shopping with the family and we were picking up one of those nice prelit fake trees and standing right next to me was a local brother who i had grown up with staring at me.

  i just smiled my biggest apostate smile and walked away... i wonder if the elders will call on me soon..

  i was serving my kids lunch and my daughter's alphabet tater tots spelled out 'god'... do you think it's a message to change my wayward ways and return to the kingdom hall?.

  a little while back my siblings and i (one jw two exjw's) had and intervention for my mother (jw) because she nearly killed herself by abusing her perscription medicine.

  like most addicts she denied that she had a problem and refused to get help, so my sister, brother, and i all restricited our contact with her as agreed until she would get help.

  my mother turned to her local elders (she is inactive, only because she doesn't like to leave her house, she still believes) and sent them after my sister and i. i haven't been to a meeting since 2006, i am married to a non jw (oh the shame) and celebrate holidays, the elders show up at my house unannounced and start brow beating me in the most christian way about respecting my parents and (this is hiliarious) tell me that just because i don't agree with everything she does (they also tell me that she needs all her pills because of her pain) doesn't mean i can cut off association with her because it isn't scriptual... i couldn't help myself i laughed outloud.
