i haven't posted in years but i had to log in to share this story from my neck of the woods.

second generation jehobo witless sex offender is caught with child pornography one year to the day after being charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor [i would link the article on his current arrest but it appears the article has been maliciously hacked with adult links in the text].

but here is what a good witness he is: "the tip came from the national center for missing and exploited children, who forwarded information provided to them by rabbit, inc., a file sharing network, who had identified images on their servers with several usernames that linked to edgerly, including shaneallen, roadhammer, and lovejehovah1... he also explained his usernames to the detectives.

J-Dub Gossip: How Do/Did You Handle It?

perhaps the biggest fear i have of leaving is the ensuing gossip that will follow.

i know it's stupid to worry about what will be said about me once i'm "out," but it kills me inside.

of course, that doesn't mean that i don't already deal with my fair share of gossip as it is while still "in.

well i am new to this, and i must admit that at first i was very opposed to this site.

i grew up being a witness and was warned about looking into apostate things, which is exactly what this site would be that they are referring to.

i always tried to live my life the best that i could under the societys control, and never really got to have any life experiance at all.

i've been loggin in to this site for about 3 or 4 months on an almost daily basis.

i decided to finally make an account cause i just have to vent and connect with those who have been in my shoes.

"worldly" people don't understand completely when i talk to them about the hardship of being born into a religion/cult, growing up with people making decisions for me, and having them choose my future, goals, and dreams; all the while sacrificing normal childhood joys and replacing them with study, service hours, and 5 minute talks.

Has anyone else tried the crazy approach to fading

during my fade i started acting more and more bizarre (not brushing my hair, clothes that did not match, sleeping during meetings, non-sequitur answers) and i found that it really helped because most of the rank and file just thought i was bat sh*t crazy, and the elders were kind of happy not to have to deal with me.

so has anyone done something similar?.
