  Dear Anne Marie,

  You are a true survivor. I sympathize with the ordeal your have gone through. Yet the walk home from the KH the night you were DF’d seems to be a blessing. Perhaps unconsciously you were acknowledging that these people treating you so badly could not possibly be true Christians.

  I’m glad your dissolution with pretend Christians did not destroy ;your faith in God. You seem to have found the true “good news” of Christ. Good for you.

  You made a point I plan to remember about independent thinking:

  Remember: The opposite of the "independent thinking", that the society so often warns us about, is "DEPENDEANT THINKING"!

  Excellent point. Congratulations for escaping the Dependent Thinking.

  that was when 200 brother's went to 3 c.o.s at bethel to ask for justice, beccause their overseers where doing unscriptual actives!!!

  i was there to tell them of what my overseer of the launrdy said to me the statement was "that brother over there {pointing to gary kennedy} will die at armagedon, because of his actions!

  I WAS THERE TO TELL THEM OF WHAT MY OVERSEER OF THE LAUNRDY SAID TO ME

  Sounds like you were with me in the second floor Geliad classroom waiting our turn to testify. Remember the many brothers making trips to the bathroom to puke. A tense day, indeed.

  All three Freds worked on my floor in the factory when this thing was given birth. We all thought we were doing the right thing, while Papy was down stairs calling us all KORAHs.

  If it is any consolation, Ray Franz recently told me he thought that on that “Black” day the foundation was laid for the changes that occurred years later with the GB taking control from Knorr. But then, what good did that accomplish?

  Zev,

  I may be wrong here, but dork doesn’t seem to be the right term. I always thought of a dork as an unintelligent nerd. But a geek usually implied the nerd had a brain. I hope you consider it a compliment if I prefer to think of you as a geek instead of a dork!

  What I really like (truly geeky) is the stacked computer system. I have cut holes in walls to slip a computer case into the back of a closet with only the face sticking out, and cut out concrete block to recess a 19 in monitor, but never thought of stacking towers.

  By the way, Joy2bfree was mistaken about the “fiber optic” on my side of the bed but that’s only because she is neither a geek, dork, or a nerd. It is only a CAT5 cable that I don’t even use anymore. My son talked me into going with wireless networking about 6 months ago. No more need for magazines in the bathroom.

  it seems as if rand cam engine corporation signed a contract with the us navy to supply parts for their "smart" bombs.

  the watchtower bible and tract society owns 50% stock in rand cam engine corporation (rgus).

  REGI U.S., Inc. is currently in negotiations with Advanced Ceramics Research to license the Ceramic Rand Cam(TM) Engine for commercial and U.S. Navy applications for this type of engine.

  There are many others here who are more high tech than I, but I would like to use this info if I could prove the WT "owns 50% stock in the Rand Cam Engine Corp." I believe proof of this has been posted in the past by Amazing or someone else. Can you help with this info as well?

  Farkel,

  I have not had the time nor mental energy lately to get into issues as I would like to. But this is a complex matter. Like the "Guns don't kill people, People do!" issue, what was the gun and who pulled the trigger here? If either one of the factors were missing the outcome would have been different. I hold the Borg responsible for the condition that seemed unbearable. But there must be other factors here contributing the this response to the 'seemingly unbearable'.

  My only regret is that we do not have contact with people like this so as to help them see there are others with them and we will support each other. I don't know how to reach these victims of the WT but feel this should be our priority.

  this is just for fun, but imagine if you will the following scenario.. the gb are dropping like flies and the remainder are desperate to find some replacements before the whole shebang is taken over by non-annointed ones.. news comes in of a middle-aged anointed bro who sounds as if he will fit the bill perfectly.

  no-one at brooklyn has met him yet, so they send for him to be interviewed with a view to him sitting on the gb if approved.. on the flight to new york the prospective gb newbie suffers a heart attack, and as he expires he drops his wallet under the seat, the wallet also contains a letter with the details of his forthcoming interview.. by an amazing coincidence, the person sat immediately behind the victim is an active poster from jw discussion.

  he spots the wallet, and upon reading its contents he decides that he will impersonate the defunct would-be gb member in the hope of eventually becoming part of the gb himself.
