  This is just sick. Taking joy in the deaths of billions of fellow human beings? I can't believe I actually bought into this crap once upon a time. And the quotes are all from the Hebrew Scriptures. Or was there actually one from the Greek side? (feels odd to refer to them that way now by the way). The made up stuff, the conjecturing... where do they come up with this stuff??

  I was playing WoW one day and a JW was witnessing in either General or Trade chat.... i can't remember. He/she was going on and on when i replied that JW's aren't supposed to play WoW and to find a better way to count their time. Busted! Never heard from them again...

  As far as your page is concerned, I don't play PvP or Arena so I can't really give you any input there. More of a PvE kinda gal. Even still, I like how you have the average stats. Kinda gives the player an idea of what to gear, gem, or enchant for.

  2 level 80 druids, 78 and going on ret pally, 25 on a prot pally too. Yeah I know, I have no life.

  I liked learning about the bible. However strange and twisted some of it was, I now know more about the bible than most people do.

  I liked buying new dresses with matching shoes and bookbags.

  I liked my first congregation. They made me feel special and loved... something I really needed. Then I moved and was just another publisher. That was sad.

  My favorite story comes from my daughter. She was 8 at the time and was put in a car group with 2 sisters who had a bunch of kids between them. On this day only a couple were with them and they started talking about the New System. How wonderful it would be and how they would have perfect children. How they were looking forward to the obedience of said children. My daughter (she's a gem!) pipes up and says "Yeah I'm looking forward to having perfect parents." They glared at her. And changed the subject. I heard about it later from one of them on how sassy my child was. Yes yes, I nodded, she can be that way. On the inside I was cracking up!

  July 15th WT Study Article - Generation PR Fallout to Keep JW's Alert !

  after perusing through this article sent to us by our lurking jw friend- that's what i took away from this study article entitled " what jehovah's day will reveal " .

  this article was printed to keep jw's alert to the alleged urgency of the times - just in case some get puzzled by the new extended overlapping generation theory and lose their sense of urgency.

  i think the wt society is covering their backside here , doing possible damage control , and are very nervous about negative fallout in regards to how some jw's may respond to this extended " overlapping generation " theory being pushed.

  did anyone else notice that in the watchtower its bringing out jesus is the mediator only for the 144,00. and where did they get it that jesus didn't partake of the emblems?!?!

  it's crazy how true that scripture is that states that satan blinds the minds of the unbelievers.

  but what i don't understand is do you think the governing body is doing this type of stuff like putting stuff in the watchtower like this on purpose since they have the issues only for members of the congregration?

  Ahh I get it now. They haven't taken anything away from or added to the Bible. They just changed the scripture in the magazines. Very clever! And how many people will actually look UP the scripture and read everything around it? Those that do will probably think "wait a second, that's not what it says".

  I'm 54 this year and what I've learned is this: Learn something new. Try a new computer game, take up a new hobby, hang out with people younger than you but never EVER let go of your age or your wisdom. The internet is great for this! Listen to new music and don't be stuck in your own past. I never saved up to retire so I know that will never happen but it's ok. Work keeps you going, keeps you thinking and your brain active.

  As for me, I play an online MMPORPG....that's Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. I'm not as good as some of the other people I play with, not as quick, but I have fun. That's the key. HAVE FUN!! My online friends all know I'm older and they don't care.

  Eventually, we all come to grips with our own mortality. Death happens. What matters most is how you live NOW. Don't obsess over what you missed, just move forward. It's never too late to go back to school if that's what you want to do. Go skydiving. Buy a motorcycle. Scare yourself once in awhile. It's never too late until you're dead.

  Cheers to growing older but never getting old!
