i will prove to all reading this post that he is correct by going a step past the "Appointment" of a man by Holy spirit to the "Re-Appointment" of a male jw by holy spirit
If you had a credit card that only worked in your town and never out of town unless you reactivated it each time you traveled outside of Chester Township-
you would realize quickly you had a very poor quality bank that issued you the card- yet that is what happens when a male jw is appointed by God's Holy spirit-
his appointment ain't much good out of town- allow me to illustrate:
Bro Johnson's father died so he has decided to move back to help out mom
Well when he gets to the hall he finds out that his appointment that he received 3 weeks prior is NO GOOD=
Now he must wait till the CO comes in 6 months and then no RE-APPOINTMENT another 6 months and no re-appointment
his hours are higher than all the current elders 17hours and 3 bible studies still no RE-APPOINTMENT
So what started out as an Appointment by HS has actually turned out to be an appointment by a Corp
You see this is what really happened
Mr. Johnson move to a new branch office without being assigned there by the Home Office and so he has to start all over again as a stockclerk
Yes Mr Johnson thought that his appointment was "Until he did something that disqualified him", but instead he realized that by merely moving to a different location his Appointment by HS didn't work
Yes he merely works for a corp

I have another theory. It's seems like there is an organized effort to almost eliminate the "inactives". How many inactives on this board, from all over the place; have talked about recent "visits" and other forms of pressure? Could it be the Society is trying to pull them back in, and instead; are ending up pushing their own numbers down?
Clearly, the GB knows that "inactive" can be used like a loophole to maintain contact with family and friends (an open channel for "outside" information). With the wealth of info. online, they could see this as a threat.

everyone has been told NEW INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE ELDERS
and plz don't miss this meeting
well the letter is read and the elders are told to call on everyone INACTIVE
TO ASK THEM a series of questions
1. Do you beleive that this is the truth and being directed by God org?
if the answers is yes, then the next question is asked
2. Will you accept the assistance of the elders to get you REACTIVATED
if the answer is yes a pub/pio will be assigned to work with you so you can become active again
but if they answer NO to any of the questions above
the elders will let them know that the FDS has instructed them to let the person know that he has by his Actions DA himself and the congo will be informed
reason being ----- EITHER YOU ARE WITH JESUS AND HIS ORG OR YOU ARE AGAINST JESUS AND THE ORG
this way it will scare the He!! out of alot of inactive jw who still view this as the truth but are inactive
and others it will be the straw that breaks the camel back and they will get the TRICK OUT

Actually this is the very type of post that i often times share with NONJW-
for the most part loyal jw will stay till they have an event that leads them to examine things
but NONJW is where its at-- when a NONJW reads a post like the above and the only issue is that one does'nt agree with some type of doctrine they often find it shocking to see that those nice smiling folks on thier doorstep Sat AM would turn into such persons merely because you don't agree with them on a Doctrine that in 5 yrs will be revealed to have never been supported by the bible to start with
you really can't get upset at the poor fellow due to the fact that he displays the same conduct of a person drunk or on drugs
when one considers that jw take in wt drugs week in and week out for 10-20-30 or more yrs can we really not expect such a person to respond in such a way
for we all know that in another 10 yrs perhaps this same person if take the time to examine wt will be back here to this site or another relating how he went OFF ON A GUY NAMED TR

talking to my cousin just now, she has been inactive for years.... she told me she just started going back to the meetings, hard!!!
i asked her a one-word question--"why?".
she immediately flipped out on me, and said because she doesn't want to be responsible for her children's death at armageddon (of course).

WELL stated indeed- now with the net , it will continue to pose more of a challenge to jw esp in the western countries- case in point
just before i stepped aside the co told us point blank that in our area the NET was impacting the congo- i live in an area of the country were they news often times state that we have 1.2PCs per household-heck i got 5 in my house running-
well anyway the deal is this- he told us that we need to help the bro, see what happens due to years of wt training the avg jw almost Sh!ts in his pants when asked by a nonjw to read something thinking it is apostate material at the door-
we he mentioned that a number of pioneers were reporting at the semimar that they are losing studies - what happens is the person starts to study and they are told to share their new found knowledge with folks on the job, family, etc
well the moment they do that the family or co-work downloads TONS OF JW INFO OFF THE NET and then begans to ask questions and as he told us- they have asked the friends to READ THINGS well despite the fact that it is a direct quote from the wt the jw due to the indoctrination processs just Freaks out-he told us that some folks in the territory will invite the jw into the house and then WIPE OUT SOME PRINTOUTS the the jw will almost jump up to run-YOU KNOW THE INFO IS DEMONIZE- SMILE_ THEY feel.
anyway as i have often stated-- jw enjoy when a bible student ask lots of questions- problem is --it's not till a person is baptized do you then know what questions to ask, but then it's too late
so the net will continue to make it harder for the jw- one old bro in my bookstudy stated about the NET--
"you know we ain't even suppose to be up on that old internet"
well the young jw are being brought up on the NET and they will know it is more than just a toy but a serious source of INFO
my wife and i were out at Outback Steak House almost a yr ago- ran into on old elder from another hall- they didn't know that we were no longer attending meetings- he told me that the kids in the hall are up on the net ad they are coming to the hall and questioning the elders and he put it:
"Can you believe they are questioning the Slave"
so info has always been a High Control Groups worst fear and we see that with the WT
since they can't say not to go on the net- they can only DEMONIZE IT LIKE THEY DID COLLEGE
for the old timers they will listen,but the youth - WE SORRY-- smile

what is so sad about that is after the school a group of former bethelites who had not seen each other in a long time all went out to Steak and Ale for dinner- and we sat around the table laughing at how Big Bill- who is a very large black bro who works in legal would not be coming down to get us out of Jail
we all laughed at the time due to the instructions that the Service dept was putting in place with the help of the Legal ept
it is sad that at the time i just laughed , not realizing that they were indeed HANGING THE ELDERS OUT TO DRY

i left the jw's 11 years ago and even though i never looked back i'm constantly concerned about the things i do.
for example, my wife's family is fairly devout in their faith (catholic) and therefore i occasionally have to attend their church, and i am always riddled with guilt upon entering and participating in the services.
also, every time some calamity occurs around the world i am always wondering if "this is the beginning of the end"?
but guilt is a powerful tool
