  folks we all need to keep in my that wt is about writers who write fiction and any writer will tell you they can change the story anytime they want to

  does anyone recall when Bobby Ewring died on Dallas and came back

  yea follks were ticked off, but there were still folks who watched the program

  the poster demostrated clearly how the wt can change dogmas at anytime

  it has been decussed many times and even folks i have spoken to still at bethel have mentioned that it is clear that the wt is preparing the way to do away with the FDS as we know it today and replace it with a new definition of FDS to include NONANNOINTED

  and that is one dogma that clearly is on the way- the Given ones, the replacement of all gb with nonannointed officers, and as i was told personally the use of moses and joshua, elijah and elisha, paul and timothy will be used to represent the PASSing of the Torch and yes jw wll as GArybus says

  "KEEP on nodding in agreement"

  this will be what you all will see, i am willing to put money onthis, for i have talked to too many guys at bethel and just looking at the groundwork that has been layed for the last 15yrs to put this in place

  when the wt makes changes many times they do it real slow testing the wind to see how things go, this will be a major shift, but if anyone looks at the facts the ground work has been in place for years to make this major dogma shift

  it all depends on what the wt decides to do,if there history is any indicator then they will be around for along time-

  look at the catholic church, they got 200yrs under their belt, if you merely described the catholic church to a person and never told them who it was they would be shocked-

  if you asked a person, could a religion stay around and attrack new converts after they had burned folks, killed folks, persucuted folks who didn't share their veiws, etc most folks would say, no way, yet after all the wild history of the church it is still around- the issue is religion fills a void in the lives of its followers and as long as man has a need/void in his life there will be a belief system standing there to fill it, esp religious beleif system-

  only religious beleif system invoke Divine favor of the gods, and for many folks that is good enough for them

  so i don;t see wt going anywhere, will it be the same of course not consider that if russell was here today, his own company would DF him for apostasy, smile

  persecution of JWs will only confirm WTS doctrines. History has demonstrated that JWs persecution will lead to a more standfast position and increase of its membership.

  bingo, on the money, many former jw hate jw so bad they missed the whole point, the problem is not with some 7yr old jw kid who is being kicked in the teeth or some uneducated 75 yr old woman being pushed down on the ground, while JR Brown and the rest of the players at bethel are sitting around some rich jw house in Palm Springs after they gave a boring A$$ talk at the district convention last week

  sad to say the men who cause the pain and hurt in millions of folks lives go UN-touched by such persecution- like all the young men who are still sitting in Jail due to alternative service - even though they changed the rules, yet these young 17,18,19 yr old guys are sitting in jail due to getting a 3-10yrs sentence-

  so please don;t lose site that most of those jw are literally uneducated - i wonder how many jw in russia can read at at 11th grade level, yet many of them will suffer greatly - they have been duped and the boys in brooklyn kick back and enjoy the good life

  My experience with picketing is to do it all with a big grin on your face, it will make them so furious they will want to slap the grin off your face- LOL

  Dont get mad or yell, just simply smile and it will drive them nuts

  so true indeed the SMILE is what kills them since it goes against everything they have been programmed to expect, they expect to see the foam, the hatred and anger and certainly not the look of being happy -

  and yet here you are chillling and smiling, it totally confusing them esp since they have been reassured for years that jw are the happiest folks on earth so how in god name can an apostate be happy

  JT:I've said it before, and I'll say it again - it's an ineffective method, but it really does work for some.

  I'd rather people took to such methods out of an interest in the lives of cultees, rather than just to let out some angst, but everyone is built differently.

  Can't beat a "kingdom smile

  o yea it does work and as some poster have mentioned it would have worked in their cases as well

  Was John Denver the Anti-Christ?

  when i was a kid in the seattle area in the late '70's, i heard this rumor told many times: before all his concerts, john denver would ask if there were any jehovah's witnesses present, and then ask them all to leave(of course whoever was telling the story knew of someone who had experienced this first hand).

  also, johnny carson confronted him about it on the tonight show once(carson often figured into the jw/celebrity rumours i heard as a kid), and when denver admitted that it was true, johnny asked him to leave.

  apparently, several witnesses worked on his show and this greatly offended him.

  in my jw community we didn;t listen to JD music but we had our own rumor as well it was about earth wind and fire

  they too were suppose to ask all jw to leave their shows as well, it was never true-it wqas always told by a CO or well known elder during a talk

  Elders wont answer my questions

  well i had written up 30 or so questions for the elders.

  i made it very easy.

  ther were mostly simple questions with yes or no answers.

  I dont think it should make a difference where the info came from just whether its true or not.

  you are correct, the problem is for a jw it does matter and that is why one will always run into a problem when talking to a jw bottomline and this simple fact will never change for the vast majority of jw, once they know or percieve that your question is apostate based, you are dead in the water with most jw you will deal with , the only exception will be jw who are online, now they will talk all day and all night in comparsion to a jw you stop on the street or a jw you know personally like an elder and ask or raise the same issues

  jw are programmed like atm machines they shut down on the third wrong password usage smile

  I was thinking of forbidding my wife from taking the kids out in service

  my wife is a newly dunked dub, who goes out in service on thursdays.

  great point, let your kids play sports, band the whole nine yards- keep them busy little league on the weekend - they will see that as kids they should be having fun and not being SALES Men for some company out of NYC

  take them to see their cousins grandma, spend the night with grandma, and their cousins, - spend the night with kids in their class, let them do things

  nothing is more boring than being a jw kid-

  don't tell them not to but let them decide want to go to the game or to the hall, you can go to the hall next week since it will be there but the game is only this week

  let them see they will not DIE if they miss a meeting

  i think you are confusing being subtle with being effective, shouting in folks faces rarely is the most effective way to get their attention to take actions, and yes as you mentioned for some that will indeed work,

  but due to the wt conditioning they are expecting the Frontal attack and therefore they mentally respond to such by shutting down, such an approach has been taught by any half good elder and co for years

  "all former jw are angry, mad, upset, etc, the avg jw has been trained to expect that"

  i can to the net over 8yrs ago and during that time my wife and i have helped 57folks get out and almost everyone singleone of them told us, if we had jumped on them and beat them they would have shut down

  my point is not whether one way works and the other doesn't, my point is what is Effective

  and for those of us who have been at this game for some time, we have seen what works better and what doesn;t

  when i read this portion of the post i just shook my head:. "Hot Damn I wish some JW's would knock at my door right now!!!!!"

  while it does feel good to take a rank and file jw to task with our knowledge of the org that they don't have, the problem or issue in my view is not some little old sister or 13yr jw kid standing at our door, for they are merely drones-

  for me it is very important to know the difference between the unedcuated rank and file and we know just how little they know about the org and the "Organization"

  the two are not the same-

  even some elders are just as dumb as a lightbulb-

  in my exp the wt has built up this "image" of what an a apostate is, acts like, behaves, etc-

  my only queestion is why would anyone what to prove the wt correct after the wt has shafted us all those years- why prove the wt right, to me the last thing i would want to do is put a feather in the wt hats-

  Why be a WT Poster child-

  i see it too many times in folks who leave, my wife and i used to have once amonth groups of former jw and one of the first things that most would mention is how they could do what the F%$#@ they wanted to do with thier lives and as a result many of them got involv ed in behavoior that even NONJW would not, therefore becomeing nothing more than a WT POster child

  then i begin tosee folks who left and were moviing on with thier lives, going to college, starting families,enjoying life

  there is no greater "Revenge" than to leave wt and do well with your life, it totally confusing them since we were all told that once you leave wt your life goes to hell in a hand basket

  folks had me leaving my wife for a white woman, we were getting a divoirce. lost our apt, etc

  yet when they see up in the malls smiling and waving at them they look totally confused, we are looking all happy and REFRESHED while they are looking all hagard and worn out-

I'm sure they're still shaking in their boots ... likely from laughing AT you! ######### yep and esp the bethelites for the poster reminded them of a apostate who used to stand out in front of bethel for years called MR Coffee and we used to laugh at him each morning so for many they are used to seeing former jw act this way and it only serves to confirm in their mind WE GOT THE TROOOOF
