  in an effort to get some help and hopefully help others, i'd like to start this thread about psychology, specifically starting with the subject of anger management.. .

  Today Is TotallyADD's 5th Birthday

  no, he is not 5 years old, he is 59 today.

  totallyadd like many of you was raised in the cult and not allowed to celebrate his birthdays.

  he was always on the outside looking in, deprived of cake and comraderie.

  My Grammy passed away this morning...

  peacefully after a short bout with leukemia.

  she was 88 years old and the foundation of my life.

  she will be sadly missed by me and everyone whose lives she has touched.. .

  I had a problem with Rs. We were at a small witness gathering at an elderly sister's house, and I pronounced the word "fork" without the R and apparently it sounded like the word "f*ck." I remember getting screamed at. I also got my mouth washed out with soap, having no idea what I had done wrong. I remember being utterly mortified and confused. I was little.

  Put it up for sale on eBay. Someone will surely get excited and buy it. But who knows what they will see in the wrinkles. A cat hissing? Two men arm wrestling? A sailboat? Maybe a parakeet winking? They will see whatever their brains want to see. But that's all cool, because then you'll be a few bucks richer.

  Suspicious - just take it easy. Take it slowly if you can. At least try to slow down. You do not have to have everything figured out overnight.

  We Are Disgusting!

  so this is a follow up to the thread started regarding the contact that some jw family members made through my aunt.

  they wanted funds to put my grandmother (phylis) into an all inclusive old age home.

  they wanted contributions from my aunt and mother.

  I'm sorry your aunt has been hurt by being treated this way. Hopefully, she will see it for what it is. The JW relatives have cut others off, thereby cutting off sources of financial help for your gran. They are reeping what they've sowed. The financial burden now will fall on them.

  They now have to deal with the situation they created. I'm so sad for them. Yeah, right.

  I have an idea

  how about those of us that are still going to the district conventions this summer, take a permanent sharpie pen and go in to the bathroom into one of the stalls and write on the stall wall a quick one line message followed by jwfacts.com.

  do this once a day in a different bathroom all three days, we may actually get to a few people..

  Facebook "friend" heard a rumor

  i was surprised to get a message on facebook yesterday from a sister in a congregation i hadn't attended in 18 years.

  she said she heard a rumor totallyadd and i no longer want to be jws.. funny thing is the last time i messaged her on facebook was january 2011. yes, i had let all correspondence drop with jws as we were well into our fade at the time.. but two and a half years and she wants to know if we want to be jws?

  no how are you doing, miss you guys, or news of her family.

  As always, your posts are the best. You are suggesting to "mark" or even disfellowship and shun the offender....Love it. I wish you'd write a book on anything, it doesn't matter. I'd totally read it and be your number one fan.

  im not dfed yet, i told the elders for a long long time the wt is not gods org, i told them what i believed ,jesus being god, born again, yadda yadda yadda, i have not gone to a jw meeting in a long time, i go to church etc.. but what i feel would be a great relief and really help me be free is to come out on here with a pic and not hide behind unstopableravens username, im not sure if its a good idea or not..
