  Found something really cute while cleaning out the garage ...

  going through an old filing cabinet i found pages from a diary i must of kept when the kids were little .

  the first page was entitled 'funny things the kids say '.

  entry from 1985 : ( our son j*** was 4 and his brother t** one .

  We had to fill out the goverment census a couple of weeks ago and Carrot was asking Babysprout the questions.

  First question was:

  What is your religion? Babysprout's answer. Jewish. Lol

  What is your nationality? Babysprout's answer. Welsh.

  Do you have a mental health illness? She thought for about 5 minutes and came with this answer. Hayfever!

  So she is a welsh jew with a mental illness of hayfever. Being as she lives no where near wales and she has no religion and very rarely suffers with hayfever, we really don't know where she came up with this stuff!#

  I forgot my parents' anniversary

  hubby turned to me a couple of days ago and said "it's your parents' anniversary" and i said "who?

  " hubby replied "exactly" and laughed.

  i wasn't being facetious, i just didn't hear what he said but totally understand why hubby would say "exactly".

  That may be true in the UK, but i have to say i have never experienced anything like it. Thats racism at the most ridiculous!

  for those her were born into the jdub religion, why did you leave at whatever point?

  There are people like this walking around loose everywhere, not just the KH.

  In the KH its full on and you can't escape. Outside the KH you can run away screaming... I know i run away a lot! LOL

  you've got some people that just are intent on sucking the life right out of you. They're like emotional vampires.

  Knew plenty of them when i used to go. In laws are two of them! Emotional vampires are very real! Dangerous aswel!

  Poster Vs. Person

  sometimes we treat people here like our friends and sometimes we treat them like crap.

  and we may often view them indifferently.. i've often said here that i very much doubt some individuals would talk to me face to face like they do here.

  in this forum you can get away with a lot because i think we tend to view the people behind the keyboards as merely "posters" -- not real persons.

  I don't hide behind my little grey alien moniker... I don't write anything i wouldn't say to your face. I'm a fiery little madam at the best of times

  If somebody says anything to my face that upsets me or says anything about someone i know, love and respect, Carrot does a runner cause he knows whats coming!

  I fell out with Carrots brother two weeks before his wedding, because him and his MS snot nosed friend were slagging off a friend of mine. I defended my friend and said they had no right to say those things and they needed to shut their big gobs...[i have away with words lol] He started screaming at me and went for me! Carrot got inbetween us... I could have taken him, i'm tough! lol. I stood there and yelled at him to shut his face. Stupid gimp didn't scare me! I was banned from the wedding and Carrot said he wasn't going. Carrots mom started wailing saying if Carrot wasn't going she wasn't going! Carrots dad shouted at Carrot as he dragged me from the house that he always knew i would create a rift in the family! Good God anyone would have thought they belonged to the Italian mafia! Never known such drama! LOL. I did get to go to the wedding *sigh*

  So whatever i write i will say to you face, whether it's telling you off, saying something nice or sending a virtual hug. Even when i write lol i am actually laughing. Apart from that one! What i write is what you get.
