It had better not come on the 21st of May, i'm going to London for a few days the end of May! If the end of the world comes i won't be happy as it will have ruined my plans!!

The strangest looking (and acting) nut jobs you have ever seen at the KH!
by new boy inthere are so many after after 52 years in the "borg".. my top two would have to be at my last hall tigard oregon.. one lady slept in her pickup truck with 30 parakeets, sometimes in the kh parking lot.
people tried to help her with accommodations but she like the truck.
she really dressed up for the meetings......feather boa's, big hats, looked like may west from the 30's.

The greatest love and peace to you! I knew a jw who refused to look after herself and ignored her diabeties... It resulted in her going blind. Not good for an 18 year old... It is a very serious illness and i think more should be taught about it.
run by pharmaceutical conglomerates that make HUGE profits off such illnesses. They're finding out, however, that some of these "preventable" diseases are not only not preventable... but induced. By all kinds of things, including (maybe even especially) many pharmaceuticals/medications.
That really does not surprise me! It all about the ''greed'' and how much money they can make. Makes me sick!
How are you feeling?? Has your diabeties been affected by your surgery?

by man in black inthis morning on the radio a member of the communist organization of the usa was being interviewed , and as a tie in to commercials the station was using.
a song that sounded very familiar/.
it was bothering me for several hours until i thought that an old song sung at the kh was very familiar.. it went something like " our god jehovah, almighty in battle" (that's all i remember).. what do you think ?

going in one's sleep, as an insulin diabetic that no longer necessarily appeals to me.
Is that a risk with diabeties?? Going in your sleep?
I just want a long healthy life, watched my granfather fight for every breath and die in the most horrific way... I would much rather not know.

Prayers for my daughter, Ali, not a good update
by coffee_black inmy last update on my daughter was so good...but it didn't turn out that way.
she was cleared to go back to work, but with limitations... she couldn't lift more than 10 pounds.
her employer wanted her back but wouldn't agree to the lifting restriction.

Oh no HHG! I think all the fruits in the UK were in our area! The cong we were in was well known for the sheer amount of ''fruit loops''. The pioneers and elders familys would make up names and mock them. I love how SB would have a choice in the matter! LMAO!

In the cong we were in there was this one bro who was very strange. His wife was an identical twin and she would refuse to sit next to her hubby, making her twin sit next to him. Anyway one meeting Carrot and I were skivving in the foyer, this bro came in through the doors having done the ''carpark check''. He walked up to Carrot got in real close and stroked Carrots face. Carrot froze, i couldn't help myself and i started to giggle. As he walked out Carrot looked at me and shuddered! This same bro was on mikes and my parents were sat on the back row. While the paragraphs were being read he walked up behind my mom and pushed his ''willy'' into her back. Mom kept turning round and huffing and tried to move away. That made him worse! After the meeting he went up to mom and apologised that the reason he had to stand so close was because he didn't want to get in the way of the video camera. WTF! He is a dirty perv!

After a long, active, happy, fulfilled, sucessful, peaceful life i would like to fall asleep and not wake up. Going peacefully i think is the best way. No painful, long drawn out illness that has you begging for death. While all your family are their saying their goodbyes and willing you to shut your eyes so your suffering can end. Nah definately going in my sleep is the only for me.
Quite a morbid thread btw! Makes you think though.

by undercover inanother in a series of public services for those who have the unenviable task of attending the memorial or any other wt gathering on a rare occasion.... so you're going to the memorial.
it's been a whole year or more since last stepping foot in a kingdom hall.
your going to this meeting probably means that you're going to be with family members who are jw, but understand to some degree your reluctance to come to the hall anymore or have resolved themselves to losing you to armageddon.
