My reaction to Armageddon
by dudeson ini was baptized when i was 15. mainly because it was the next logical step in my "theocratic progess".
i lived the double life throughout high school.
i watched porn, masturbated, made out with a girl after the last class of the day and cursed like a fucking sailor with my "worldy" friends.. this made me feel extremely guilty.

I always knew I was going to die at Armageddon. Eventually I just learned to accept it. Now I just know I'm going to die at some point and I just sort of accept that too.

Creating exactly what He got: SINNERS...(Jehovah the architect of disaster)
by Terry ingod may as well forgive short people for a lack of height as to forgive them for their sin!.
god's "superior" standards are merely the difference between his nature and how he made humans!.
deliberately creating inferior creatures and then burdening them with infinitely superior standards of thought and conduct.

Man I've been saying that for years. I mean seriously, logic used by JW's doesn't make any sense.

Which do you prefer?
by keyser soze inwhen it comes to weather, would you rather have a wind chill below zero, or a heat index over 100?
it's the hottest week of the summer here.
i have to confess, i handle the cold much better than the heat.

I am so sick of driving in snow. I am so sick of scraping ice off my car. Give me 100+ any day of the week.

FREE TO GOOD HOME
by Out at Last! infree to good home, or not so good: my wifes cat named charlie aka: chuckles, sir charles, chuck, kitty-kitty meow-meow.
he is a 10 -12 year old cat that requires prescription food; hills science diet (from vet, very expensive) and 2 insulin shots a day @ total of 6 units a day ( from vet, very very expensive.).
he enjoys 1) pissing on the carpet 2) scratching the hell out of the carpet, dressers, and furniture, and 3) particularly enjoys kicking all of the litter on the floor so i can walk in it 4) sleeping on my pillow ( i am allergic to animal hair).

Haha, hilarious. The airtight part had me crackin up. I had a cat that lived to be 21. He was a nice cat but towards the end he missed the litterbox a lot with his diahrea. Still, I loved that cat.

New light what is it...cos I'm confused??
by Fractured~Mind inok this is the biggest problem i have ...well one of...and that's the governing body's stance on "new light".
to me its like a dimmer light , whatever subject you have the light on, starting with the lowest setting you can make out the basics.
when the dial is turned up slowly to the brightest setting, you then have the whole, complete,picture...but you don't have a whole new subject matter in front of you.. so i can understand them starting with the basics then later on slowly revealing more and more as it is revealed to them...but i dont understand starting with one idea and completely changing that idea over and over again.. and if the light is not that bright on a subject, isnt it common sense to keep your big trap shut until your sure or the light is brighter, so you don't stumble millions of people in the process??.

Wrong wrong wrong. The light has gotten so bright that the GB are blinded.

Alzheimer's is one of the worst diseases to have. The way it eats away at you until you aren't even the same person anymore. At least something like cancer doesn't take the person's personality and everything you know about them away. I'm sorry for the terrible time you are going for.

Do you REALLY believe Ezekiel laid seige to a brick 390 days?
by Terry inin ezekiel the 4th chapter one of the most ludicrous passages in the bible tells us god commanded his prophet ezekiel to lie on his left side in a mock seige against a.....brick!
for how long?

God created all things, God created humans, humans were made with the ability to sin. Therefore, God created sin. It's the transitive property. Nothing could have come into existence without God creating it.
I always likened it to handing a loaded gun to a kid and being shocked when the kid shoots himself in the head.

Can someone please explain to me...
by MrFreeze in... what joseph's brothers have to do with generations overlapping?
in the final dc talk they use joseph's brothers to indicate overlapping generations.
does anybody have any clue what that has to do with the generations in matthew?

Okay their reasoning makes a little more sense. Even though it doesn't because the whole idea is just idiotic. At least now I can see where they are pulling their delusions from.
