by GWEEDO inyou know, as much as i was horrified and felt sick to the gut by the wtc disaster (i must have watched that plane crash into the wtc about fifty times).
there are other things going on in the world that largely go unreported by comparison but constitute just as much suffering(if not more) as the wtc disaster.. one of the questions i've asked myself is why is the u.s. so hated by certain arab groups.

Isn't hell for people who don't accept Jesus? I seriously doubt if these terrorists have done so or will ever do so. I think we can safely say that from a Xian standpoint they are going to hell when they die.

at least i hope not.
there are some good, caring people, but here are some stark contrasts i've observed today that remind me of how glad i am that i'm not part of such an overall unloving group of people.

BTW, haven't the catholics now pretty much apologized for every atrocity they committed in centuries past? What has the WTBTS ever apologized for?? they don't apologize, they rewrite history to shift blame or erase events.

I'm serious about thinking this type of thought process needs to be brought to the attention of the media. Imagine the reaction the JWs would get at the doors then - with people knowing those 'loving' JWs are just dying to dance on their carcasses as the birds pluck out their eyes.
I absolutely agree this should be made known to the general public along with the info on pedophiles.. Also it should be made common knowledge that JWs are willing to use blood fractions but are not generally willing to contribute to the blood bank. JWs 'love thy neighbor' only if it another JW...
Watch the news for 15 minutes you will see who the real good samaritans are, it is for damn sure not GodWatchtower.

by joelbear ini think it all comes down to the price you pay for having more materially than others.. i think, in the end, those people are pissed off because we live so much better in this country than they do in theirs.
it is to their leaders advantage to blame the u.s. for their bad lot in life.
if they didn't, the people would start examining the enormously rich ruling class of basically every middle eastern country who just allow their people to subsist or starve to death.. clever tactic using the opiate of the people and promises of paradise to get people to do the unthinkable.. it has always been thus.. hugs.

i have tried to hold calm and keep my anger in check, but that started to change with my nato posting yesterday.. i am set back over 30 years: i was raised to respect all races, and not to be prejudiced.
i was also raised a proud american, and that it was important not to tolerate bullies.

nytelecom why don't you just accept that the WTBTS does not care about non JW people... just because most of us here are ex-jw doesn't mean we can't remember the attitudes prevalent in that org. Another poster here said something to the effect that the society of JWs has seceded from humanity. please stop trying to pretend otherwise.
