WARNING: this is a very shallow post. now that i'm out, i'm trying to see the humor of my past life as a JW. when i was new in the truth , only baptized 4 months, i became good friends with this one sister. she shared with me that she and several other sisters in our hall all had breast implants.... it makes me laugh to think that taking blood was a major NO NO, but saline implants are A O.K. I should mention that her husband is an elder and very aware of whose are real and whose are not....... jurs

TAKING OUR LIVES BACK #1

in addition to my deceptive jw elders and justice series, i also feel that a series on taking our lives back would be useful, and will bring in a lot of shared thoughts.
one of the things that i became aware of as i left the organization of jehovahs witnesses is all that had been lost, never accomplished, or stolen because of time, money and energy devoted to the interests of the watch tower organization.

hi amazing, i enjoyed your post. i guess i'm one of the lucky ones. i wasn't raised in the truth and have no family in so taking back my life has been easy. i've only been out a few weeks but i'm out full swing. if your circumstances permit, its nice to be able to DA yourself, so you can openly do and celebrate whatever you want. one of my first steps was to buy a cross necklace, i bought a large cross, i want it noticed!!! there is a christmas store in the town where i live, i've been there 3 times!! i'm having a ball!!!

Can "The Truth" Lie?

the watchtower society certainly permits their flock to hold some unique definitions of common words the rest of us take for granted.
for example, consider what we know to be jehovah's witnesses' general understanding of a few terms which might be defined thus:.

I attended the meeting tonight.....
by silentlambs ini went to the meeting tonight to check out things in the local congregation.
this spiritual paradise is showing a few cracks.
when i arrived about ten minutes before the meeting started, i felt like a ghost.

i think the net will be a big help for both the JW's as well as the studies to see that the organization isn't quite as it appears at first glance. i don't know about any one else, but when i first visited "apostate sites", i was expecting something different. i thought i'd read outrageous lies and false beliefs ' instead most everything i read i already knew, it just took someone else to articulate what i already knew. for example, the lack of love in the congregation. everthing is right under the JW's nose but its like you dont know it , but when its pointed out ,you know its true because you've witnessed similar experiences. i've been reading my "reasoning from the scriptures" and i see it through different eyes. i don't think a study could really appreciate all the information here like a dedicated JW could. the web can help a study recognize that the organization has faults but i think these sites do more for a JW, we recognize that its more than faults , we can see it as a cult.... i'm probably not making any sense, i just had a few drinks....jurs -

who are the governing body?
by robin33126 injehovah witness when mentioning "governing body" they say it like if they knew who these people are.
i asked one jw to mentioned their names and couldn't answer me.
so what is so special if they don't know the names, lives, background, of these people?
