  i was sexually abused as a child and the witness's accepted it and helped me granted they didn't go into depth about it with me but they do not cover it up they just dont like things publicized not every rape or sexual abuse is put on the news so why should a witness being raped be put on the news they are private people why not let it be

  Religions similar to JWs.

  does anyone know of any religions that are very similar to jehovahs witnesses?.

  it tends to come up in discussions with them a lot, they like to think that they are the only ones that don't believe in hell, the trinity, that jesus died on a stake, that they won't go to heaven, or stuff like that.

  i could probaby just prove them wrong, but that would take forever and it would be a lot easier to just say: "you're not as unique as you think...".

  Fight with ex-Wife

  i just got off the phone with my ex-wife (we where talking about the kids) and out of the blue she starts tellnig me how much everybody at teh kh is supportive of her (she files for divorce after i decided not to go to meetnigs any more.

  n i did not cheat on her).

  any ways, she star5ts naming names of all the people that "love" her and how she is a better dub now than ever.

  actually, in my 14 years as a dub, it only came up with one person in our cong.

  who got pregnant out of wedlock (and used drugs during pregnancy).

  she was df'd but still came to most meetings.

  Depressed witness going door to door

  this morning i saw a witness mother and her son heading out into service.

  from the area they were in i think they were going to be doing some street corner work.

  i was stopped at a light when they walked in front of my car.

  I do remember when I was a kid that terrible feeling going from door to door. I'm sure from my experience and others that they are no longer Watchtowers Witness, share the same feeling. Field service it was one of the most terrible experience for a child raised in that cult.

  I do recall when we used to preach about that famous generation that will not die and the end will come...there was so much fear in the Watchtowers world, that the only reason we would go and preach it was the fear of being destroyed in Armageddon.

  It is a terrible thing to grow in a cult like this one. Now I'm trying to help my 2 small kids age 2 and 5, that God loves everyone, and He is not a killer. I know it is a big fight that I have, because my ex-wife she is a fanatic Watchtower Witness, but I will not allow her to poisson those innocent souls with the poisson that I have grown...
