2011 district convention

somebody know the theme of this years district convention or is still top secret?.

at a recent sad the visiting bethel brother after passing on the love of the branch committee (which is bad enough, they used to say the 'bethel family' didn't they), he then made it worse (for me) by adding that he has also been told to pass on the love of the governing body.. that doesn't sit quite right with me but i can't really explain why.

any thoughts?.

Evidently the love of the governing body and the branch committee is a lot more important that the love of the rank and file. Or should we all start writing letters to the GB to pass our love to them? Maybe we can even start praying to them.

I can only feel sorry for the misguided brothers who wasted so much time and energy to tell people about their imaginary friend on a specific day of the week. I don't appreciate it at all.

POLL/SURVEY- Why Did You Leave The Organization of JW's?

why did you leave the organization of jehovah's witnesses, and/or why are you contemplating leaving the organization of jehovah's witnesses?.

i've tried to boil it down to the most likely answers based on all the reasons i have heard over the years from xjw's.

a. because the watchtower bible & tract society does not have the truth.. b. because i had a personality conflict with other members of the organization.. c. because i discovered that the wtbts was not being honest or forthcoming about its history.. d. because serving jehovah was too difficult and i just wanted to be worldly and do wicked things.. e. because the governing body of jehovah's witnesses have proved to be false prophets.. f. because i found just cause to disagree with erroneous jw teachings.. g. because the governing body and/or elders were hypocritical.
