  my mom has always made light of the whole 1975 issue.

  she has used the standard lines that it was individual jws who blew the whole thing out of proportion to what the "society" had written.

  when i brought the subject up a few years back, (back when i was inactive but still a partial believer), she told me that she and my father had never believed that the end was coming in 1975. well, i just gotta say now mom...gotcha!.

  fran on randy's xjw support board posted this as the address to which to send letters or cards of support to this poor man.

  it is his lawyer's name and address.

  (i have not verified it however.).

  My JW friend and Silentlambs...

  i caught up with an old friend on the weekend.

  she's still a loyal dub but has had terrible marriage problems in the past (they've been divorced for some time now) and feels that she has been slandered in the congregation.

  she's also pretty wild for a dub...anyway, that's a discussion for another time.... over lunch, we got to talking about one of her friends (also a dub) and she mentioned that she is very promiscuous.
