  JE-sus making a comeback at the 2024 Convention

  attended the friday sesson of the 2024 summer convention.. july 5, 2024 summer convention crowd photo; they invited quite a lot of empty chairs.. .

  the facility usually has 5500-6500. they spun it saying that fewer congregations were assigned.

  there were 6 of the smaller, more distant sections blocked off with tarps to lessen cleaning, which i understand.

  there was a knock at my door and i thought it was my take-away being delivered.. long story short, it was 2 elders calling to see me.

  i guess to re-activate me.

  once they said who they were i recognised them.

  i read penton, but since he is a former jw he could not be considered an independent source.... .

  Imagine the reaction of parents who have shunned their dissociated adult children for the past 25 years?

  If upset.....

  Refer to the Slave's humble admission that they can err in organizational direction.

  My take is that the original article was a submission to the GB, read and released by a PIMO who was fed up with the Org's nonsense.

  watchtower plays lots of games with definitions.

  once they change a definition then they have a false assumption to build their deception on.

  then they repeat the new definition and use its new meaning thousands of times to reinforce it.

  The thief on the cross recognized that he was a sinner deserving of death.

  He recognized the Jesus was LORD and called Him so.

  He recognized that as LORD, He had the power to forgive sin.

  He recognized that Jesus had a future beyond death.

  He recognized that Jesus would be king of His kingdom come,

  Because he recognized these things, he asked and received the promise of participation with the Lord Jesus Christ in that kingdom.

  Jesus said that whosoever believed in Him would past from death to life and be free condemnation. Seems to me, the thief qualified.
