today i added a new article to my blog documenting the historical dissent among jehovahs witnesses against watchtowers blood doctrine.
many participant here will be surprised to learn that from the very beginning of watchtowers ban against blood transfusion it has acknowledged the not all jehovahs witnesses agreed with the teaching and that, in fact, the teaching had created a division among witnesses.
What's good for JWs in Bulgaria should also be good for JWs worldwide...
The WT needs to start searching their data base for JWs who have been disfellowshipped in the past for accepting transfusions (whether fractions or whole)... once they have this nailed down, they need to start looking at making things right with these victims of un-scriptural shunning.
i am not sure how old this is, it was just posted on youtube.
the convention shown is from 2002. the former elder starting at around 5:50 in part one really reveals jw practices.

ohiocowboy has just posted this information on the two other threads dealing with the sudden collapse of the unthank cases.. i don't know steven unthank, but i just want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for having the courage against overwhelming odds to try and bring the watch tower society to justice over their deplorable neglect when it comes to protecting children from abuse and molestation.. steven is a man of justice and integrity who i deeply admire.
his actions will never be forgotten, and i only hope he can find it within himself to continue his work in whatever avenue may become available in the future.. they have won this battle, but they can never win the war.. .

Steven... I can't even begin to imagine how you must feel right now... but please know that we are very proud of you and what you've accomplished so far... somehow, I don't think this is the end of this case... In fact, I believe it is now ripe enough to be exposed on the world stage...

i am on a very slow fade.
a friend of my wife comes by sometimes and studies the my book of bibble stories with the kids and i get very annoyed at some of the images that are shown in there.

Have you watched the 2010 WT DVD "Faith In Action" ? ... really gruesome stuff... several photos of dead bodies scattered on the battle field were shown... and this is supposed to be friendlier than a Rated-G movie... I can only conclude that the WT writing dept is either completely clueless or outright deliberate when they select images for their propaganda...
i'm on page 90 right now...the info is definitely new and gives me a totally diff view as to how i used to think of faithful and discreet slave.
i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.

wow... i cant believe it has now been a year since i accepted that im gay.
it has been the best year of my life for so many reasons.
i have met my boyfriend who i adore, i have stopped lying to myself, my family and my friends, i am doing really well financially and spiritually, and of course, i am no longer a part of a deluded and oppressive religion.. it feels so good to be free!

Does anyone know how this finally played out??? Did Mr. Chapman show up at the court house and told the judge(s) that he will not carry forth the charges???
