in the elder book on chapter5:16 it says about religiose hols and geting a judisial thingy if u do em but it also says like only religiose hols and not for non e religios hols so does that mean u can do thanksgiving.
and in england bonfire night and what ever else is out there thats not religiose,.

And Bonfire night, doesn't that have something to do with ancient pagan sacrifices, with tossing something over a bonfire? I don't live in the UK but I have been told that this is symbolic of passing your children through the fire.
Of course, Halloween has obvious implications.
Perhaps you might get away with Mothers Day and Fathers Day. Perhaps even birthdays.

he is quite a seasoned scholar in the study of early christianity.

the nt frequently refers to people and events of the ot, but time and again these references include details and assumptions that do not occur in the original ot narratives.
but these same elements are found, time and again, in extrabiblical jewish tradition.
taken together, we see that the nt writers drew on popular tradition and haggadah on the ot texts and thus preserved traces of these ancient expansions of biblical stories in their own writings.

Sab, I am not seeing anything.
those who have lived with the opposite sex know of the frustration of being lectured about some triviality.. the toilet seat/paper controversy is among the most inflammatory.. men who forget to put the toilet seat back down inspire anger, rage, resentment and the stern lecture.. the easiest solution is to train the man to always sit down when he goes.. .
others argue over the direction of the toilet paper: forward overlap or backward underlap.. .
how do you deal with these issues and how violent do you become?.
It isn't the action of putting the seat down, y'all still pee all over the rim. Ugh. If he would wipe off the rim and the little specks on the floor, I'd shut up. If we women weren't constantly wiping the floor, our feet would stick to it.
I feel just as outraged at women, who in public bathrooms, are too prissy to sit on the seat, but not so prissy that they will let me accidently sit on their pee! Ugh.
By the way, IMHO, paper comes over the top for the practical reason that it is easier to find the end of the roll.

yesterday i spoke of my disfellow-shipping from the jehovahs witnesses.
i had been depressed for many years due to a lifetime of abuse.
as long as i could remember i thought of suicide as the ace up my sleeve; something to do when i thought i could not take it anymore.. after 15 years of marriage to a witness who was emotionally and sexually abusive the thoughts of suicide were on my mind almost constantly.
