I think the worst type of liar is the one who manipulates you into thinking and believing utter nonsense. I don't think everyone can help it. I am old and I never looked at this information because I was afraid of "apostates". I didn't recognize I was in a cult. Many people don't. Steve Hassans books on cults were helpful to me.

On The Art Of Fading

like most people, i have family and friends who are jw's (including my wife and parents).
fading is generally the best method for people in that situation.

Went to a strange funeral today
by startingover inwent to a funeral today for a lady that has not been associated with the jw's for many years, and her husband has probably just been on the fringe of association, their children have been out for a long time.
so they had the funeral at a funeral home, the place was full of family, jw's and other friends.
in the newspaper obituary they referred to it as a celebration of life.

I don't know what it means to "bookmark", I thought that had to do with sharing it on facebook. And I thought the btt was so that it WOULD go in your own "topics posted to" but after you post to a million topics, how will you find a comment made on a thread that is not the title of the thread? Is there some instructions here that I have missed? Is it perhaps better not to make remarks on a thread to which you do not intend to return? (So that you aren't cluttering up your "topics posted to")
It's just that I see those with THOUSANDS OF POSTS!!!!!
I am just trying to figure out how you can retrieve information that you have already accessed.
