  An interesting weekend. :D

  on friday it was about 70 where i live, so my cousin (who is an unbaptised j-dub) and i decided to play some tennis.

  as we were walking out of a store (we were looking for tennis balls) i see two older j-dubs driving by, staring at us.

  i havn't been to the meetings in months and i think they were shocked to see me with a beard.

  i ask because i've been posting at jwd/jwn for 10 years now.

  i was a rapidly fading jw when i started but still considered myself a christian for a good few years more.

  now i've embraced reason and rejected faith i'm a very happy atheist and enjoy learning more about the fact of evolution.. what about you?.

  I've changed in my thinking so much it's funny. I would never believe it to be possible. lol NLW hasn't changed any as he already knew most of this stuff from a couple of years ago. He has turned more solidly into an athiest.

  i have been lurking on this site and others for a couple of years now, and i feel it is time to step out and say "hello!

  " when i first began investigating my beliefs, it was innocent enough.

  i had been reading an article on scientology, thinking; "wow, these people are just plain nuts!!!

  the crowd was in a hysterical state, every time that we tried to say something we were silenced by the clapping and screams which got louder and louder of the majority of the two hundred people in attendance.

  currently mine are: peking duck pancakes, a sexy danish guy ( love those danes) and sleep.

  yes thats right, have spent 4 nights without sleep,... the old withdrawal symtoms still banging on don't ya know!.

  am currently at the point where smashing plates seems like a very refreshing and appropriate activity.

  England is poisoned for me

  i used to live in a part of england that was popular with tourists.

  the kind of tourist who wanted to experiance the "real" rural england.

  they would come to my town and thrill at the quaint old shops, delight in afternoon tea at the many little tea rooms.

  I understand what you mean! Sometimes I wish we didn't live where we do now. NLW tells me that he wont let some silly religious people and family members ruin it for him as he likes it where we live. I wouldn't mind moving where I don't know anybody and I can do as I please.
