  students who cheat are like a fake brand-namewristwatch that only looks good.

  this seems a rather odd thing to say considering jws should not be materialistic.. generally most fake brands are copying expensive designer brands otherwise they wouldn't bother making them.

  This seems a rather odd thing to say considering JWs should not be materialistic.

  Generally most fake brands are copying expensive designer brands otherwise they wouldn't bother making them. This comment suggests that these designer brand items are very desireable objects. The article is addressed to teenagers and it has been mentioned on here before that they seem to be trying to relate to them and the real world but they sure are getting it wrong.

  So no longer is it necessary to teach our children with loving kindness and encouragement, instead just force them to go to meetings and into the field service. After all it is now a scriptural obligation for even the children to go from door to door even though they haven't dedicated their lives to Jehovah. Surely the only way to help our children to deal with 'life's giants' is to help them develop the fruits of the spirit, through example and relection on the benefits when they are used in real life situations.

  Social networking for youths is generally one of their major focuses. The basic message the Watchtower is giving is not to develop an emotional or meaningful relationship with a person of the opposite sex. No wonder they're leaving in droves.

  Most JW youths readily accept that having sex is not okay, although it is a stumblying block and difficult but to curtail their activities as far as social involvement is going too far for many of them. It goes against their nature and they are going through a very important stage in their development.

  ok, my subject is totally joking, but i really do need some advice.

  i purchased a $7 dollar keychain digital picture viewer from ebay.

  it arrived in the mail, i uploaded a bunch of pictures....and then realized its a piece of crap.

  There is no point in sending gifts unless the parents aprove.

  The keychain is probably not suitable for a three year old due to its size and small parts.

  There is no threat to sue in the letter written, rather it pointed out that what they were doing was illegal.

  Putting a copyright on the bible is shocking.

  " Jehovah is our Father in the sense that he is the Source of our life." They must have some difficulty in writing about God being our father because for the majority of JWs they are not his sons and daughters.
